PARADE 2024 | Student parade for the National Anniversary of March 25th 🇬🇷
The student parade in Athens, for the National Anniversary of March 25, was completed with particular brilliance, with the participation of 229 schools as well as a school from Kalavryta that opened the parade with a banner of the Greek Revolution.
The students paraded in front of the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports K. Pierrakakis.
Before the start of the parade, the Minister of Education laid a wreath at the monument of the Unknown Soldier.
After the end of the student parade, K. Pierrakakis made the following statement:
"Tomorrow's anniversary teaches us a lot. It teaches us that with faith, courage and fortitude, our country, our people, we can all achieve miracles together, and especially if they are accompanied by unity and like-mindedness.
Today, we also celebrate the Sunday of Orthodoxy. A celebration which underlines the need for solidarity in the relations between the State and the Church. Happy birthday to one and all. Happy Birthday Greece!".
