You are awesome and hilarious. I will experiment with my CRV. I have been telling my husband I wanted to do a car camping but he never ever wants to do it. So I just going to do alone follow my dreams without him!! 😁You made my day!! Thanks for sharing Julia.
Nice vid. After some trial and error I would recommend doing it in this order to avoid dramatic latch spring action: remove front bolts with seat in regular upright position-slide seat all the way to the back-fold seat down and forward - remove back bolts - lift out straight up then out. Same for all 3rd gen 2007 - 2011 For putting back in: Do front bolts/pegs first in folded forward position (the last position when pulling out) before pushing it down and latching! If you latch in first the spring tension will make it dang near impossible to line up front bolts / pegs.
Driving from Wa to CA 1200 miles lots of stops and I love how much space you get taking out the back seats perfect if I need to stop. Thanks for a super helpful vid!!
I cannot thank you enough for this video, Julia! Not only were you entertaining and made me laugh off my frustration at not finding enough info on how to do this for my CR-V conversion project, but you were so informative and empowering! At 63, I'm not as strong as I once was, but I can do something like this once in a while. You totally ROCK! Thank you, thank you, thank you! (Yes...I'm THAT excited and RELIEVED I can now move forward with this long awaited project!) :-)
Thank you! thank you! I have always wondered if I could take the seats out and how to do it. I am going to turn my Honda CRV into a camper for race trips. This is AWESOME!!
I want to do this so bad so I can vacuum my car . Can’t imagine all the crap I’ll find back there . Hopefully my GoPro that’s been missing since last summer is under there 😅 , anyway Perfect tutorial video, right to the point 👌
lol! Your hilarious! :) that was entertaining! I just wish you wouldve taken some video of what the back looked like without the seats. I'm thinkin about buying one of these over a Honda Element for camping.
Daniel - I have a post that shows the back of my CRV without seats (but with my bedding situation in there) if you're interested. Only downside (at least my model CRV) is it's not fully flat after removal.

You're the best. This was SUPER helpful and easy!! I appreciate you mentioning the 12mm socket, that made this even faster. Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for *showing* how to get the seats to fold forward. I owe you beer!

Julia when you said "fun fact this is not a two handed job" I completely lost it laughing. Thank you
Thanks for your video Julia! I'm doing a 2010 CR-V build right now and found it helpful. I hope you were able to take some great trips!
Great video straight to the point My solo right seat is totally stuck when I pull the string in the back it won’t budge :(
Well done! Your instructions worked for my 2010 CRV.
Been wondering how to do this for years, thank you!
This would make it into a great, good looking work van!
This was insanely amusing to watch. I appreciate the candid humor. Thanks for showing me how to do this!
Quick and straightforward. Thanks so much. Great help for my camper conversion :)

Very good explanation and love the advice of the next step to vacuum. Good job!
Very helpful, thank you! I was wondering if this was possible as we need extra room for all our camping gear!
The sexiest removal of Honda CRV seats I've ever seen! ENCORE! 👏👏
Easier to remove the seats through the rear hatch ?
Probably depends on the size of the person doing it.
I watched this in reverse and it works just as well for an install.
Exactly what I was looking for. The seat removal, I mean. Well... you, too. Wanna get married?
Thanks for the help, taking mine out today.

Haha I'm imagining all the chip crumbs in mine😂
You have helped me solve my problem. Thank you!
Can you do a video on how to take out the front seats?
You rock! Thanks for sharing and making this so concise :)
Short and to the point, thanks!

There's a chapter that says front seat removal, but there's nothing here about removing the front seats
You should have shown how it looks more with out the seats
Very cool, good job thanks alot for posting
Faydalı video için teşekkür ederim

1:28 I had the exact same reaction Lol
