  • This is it. The final ride in Spain with Nathan from Enduro Malaga.
    Andrew from McTrail Rider really put together an excellent trip from top to bottom. Every day had something great, Spain is just the best.

      @@bkxc 20 years ago my friend and I spend some time mountain biking in Spain (Soller in Mallorca) as well. There are amazing pilgrimage trails in the Tramuntana Mountains. Some of them were too technical for me on my hardtail. But I know you could do it. Lot's of rocks :-) Also check out the serpentines down to Sa Calobra. Though its an Asphalt road, it's quite the experience.

    So much fun watching this! It's like I am watching the more experienced version of me and my dad! I am like McTrail Rider, constantly doing manuals and tricks and jump every take-off in the trail, and you're like my dad, riding focused and well pointed behind me!!! Great vid!!

    You've mentioned a few times how happy you are that your bike has held up. It truly is awesome how well the modern day mountain bike is designed, engineered, and built. Very few things in this world take the abuse that mountain bikes do, with so little maintenance and repair needed.

    @BKXC Hello Brian. Looking for your honest opinion. I live in Switzerland and a long time ago I had added mountainbiking in Moab to my bucket list. You have been there and you have been to many places all over Europe too. Do you think it's worth travelling all the way over the pond and on to Utah for the legendary Slick Rock, Whole Enchilada, Porcupine Rim trails or are the trails you've ridden in Europe as good as them? I'm not as good a rider as you are and some of the techy, gnarly stuff I saw you riding, I would probably get off the bike and walk. Thanks in advance.

    • @bkxc
      @bkxc  5 років тому

    Always nice to get a free loaner bike especially of that caliber and the way you guys ride you don't have to worry if it gets destroyed, paying 8 grand for a bike then sell for peanuts a year or two later not easy for everyone
    On a previous video it looked like you were running XTR brakes but SRAM drivetrain? Things as small as brake pads I would think you could easily have spares of and keep in a travel/bike bag, certainly don't take up much space.

    Don't sell yourself short. You can totally do the things the guide was pulling off you just have to believe in yourself and your bike. If you fear the consequences you'll fail but thats like most things in life.

    why not 60fps?

    • @bkxc
      @bkxc  5 років тому

      UA-cam can't handle processing it for some reason or we'd all be running 60fps. Ends up looking really weird. But somehow the gaming channels are able to do it.

    Don’t under estimate yourself Brian, you could be that good but you might have to use flat pedals to get to that level :P

      BKXC recommend you go with the pedalling innovations catalyst pedal if you try flats. Then you can use whatever shoe you like.
