- This is a video that documents my journey on fixing a tesla ac problem that I encountered. Overall this repair probably took near to 8 hours and editing the video was another nightmare in itself. Hope this video helps someone who is dealing with a similar issue as this video took a significant amount of effort.

You can see the actual fuse it 20:22.
There’s a lot of pre-work required to get to the fuse.
Thank you, Yuri
18:44 You cant check a fuse laying on a piece of metal for continuity.
3:39 PEOPLE Dont do this! This just pushes the plastic trim down to prevent vibrations, you can just pull the trim up, just give it a push and the rubber thing will easily go through the hole!
Just saved €3500, many thanks!
Здравствуйте спасибо большое за ремот,мне очень помогло,выпускайте по больше видео по ремонту Теслы в ДАЛЬНЕЙШЕМ!,у вас есть мозги и руки,молодец!
At 2:49 I realize that the cap doesn’t suppose to come off on older model s just pull the panel.
In when you put the panel on it will slide right thru hole.
No way?!? I don't think the whole is big enough
@@yurka23Yes way......I've got the same car. You may have to massage the mushroom a little but it's easy-peezy.
Thank you! Saved me 10k from tesla !
No way! That makes me happy 😊
You cannot check a fuse for continuity while it is installed you’ll get a false positive
Cool DIY fix bud, Don't have a S but Yea way more complex than a 3.
Thanks for checking my video out
Hi there, continuity on plus or minus wire? Or they both need to have continuity?
Tanks in advance
Hey question tesla is quoting me that the louvers need to be replaced. My ac is making no noise. Could it be the fuse as well?
Какие ошибки были в сервисном меню ?
У меня проблема с климатом, хочу менять компрессор d0010_compressor , w0031_compnofeedbk
I know you already dound the case of rhe issue but i always reboot the care
This is awesome. Thank you! Can’t imagine what the SC would charge. Do you have the part no. of the small fuse aswell?

@@yurka23 sorry I mean the 20A fuse. Or is that irrelevant? Thanks!
@@Dominiquedehoon that's the part number to the 40amp fuse that I replaced.
@@yurka23 yeah I have AC now thanks to your vid!! Any way I can make a donation?
@@Dominiquedehoon No thanks, I'm glad I could help :)
Will this work for my 2019 Model S?
Surely the question is…why did the fuse blow in the first place ?
yeah but apparently its a reoccuring issue.
Thanks Yuriy, good work! I am wondering, is there a certain reason why the fuse breaks at first place? Could it happen soon again, after all this work?
I dont know why the fuse breaks, but this is atleast the second time it happened. Hopefully it doesnt happen again.
If this is the second time then there must be a larger issue. It's not just a coincidence. The fuse is there for a reason.
Hi Yuri. Thx for your Video. I have a queation about the continuity on the compressor fuse. If it DOES jabe continuity woth yhe other ones, it isnt blown?
if it passes continuity then it is not blown, but make sure youre checking the right one because there are 2.
Hi Yuriy, can you help me to Exit Dyno Mode in Tesla 2013 Model S60? I tried every way I could find on youtube, but none of them could exit Dyno Mode
Yeah turn the car off in your security options and turn it back on by pressing the brakes or anything.
@@yurka23 Thanks.
Hi Yuriy, I have one more question, actually I am trying to get my car(Tesla 2013 Model S60) back to normal. currently, my car's AC not working. Looks like big AC leak (passenger side ) AC condenser is broken. I heard somewhere it said AC system is linked with Battery cooling? I saw a video, and someone said he can't supercharge because no AC. for me I don't get any error codes, I can supercharge too. but, since my CA not working, should I not drive until my AC fixed? if it is really cooling the battery too ?
From my understanding coolant runs through the battery too, but I'm not too sure. so when my ac broke I didn't drive it 😞 some people online say you should be fine but it can degrade the battery.
@@yurka23 Thanks Yuriy. Yes I drove 300miles without knowing it. No error came. But it was night and not hot. I found a AC diagram, and yes it has a connection to cool Battery coolant. May be it is not cooling frequently, may be as required. Im still searching

anyone know where this is located on 16 p90 s.. my 12 v battery is not where his is and I have replaced ac pump still nothing so I am guessing it is the fuse. Also has anyone worked on them and more messages pop up after. After changing ac pump now it has a turtle icon and front motor is disabled ugh.. where I live the nearest Tesla Dealer is 14 hours away so if I can fix it myself it would be so much better. Thank you
the 12v is in the center back of the fronk for the dual motors i believe
Our AC is not working. Just got home and it’s not cooling at all. If this is the issue, do you know how much it will be to get it fixed at a service center? I don’t know if I can knock this out by myself.
First thing I would check is your AC pressures to see if you have enough freon in the system. You just might be low on air-conditioning fluid.
So was your AC compressor broken? How much did it cost you to repair from tesla service center?
My AC compressor went back too and Tesla wanna charge me $3823. Parts $820.44 Labor (USD)$ 2,928.00. I think its crazy for charging me $2928 for labor. He said because the metals parts exploded all over the unit so it takes time for them to clean out the AC. I was just curious how much did they charge you to replace your AC unit. Thanks..
@@whiteempress2567 wow!!!
Thanks Yuriy. You saved me atleast 5 grand. I’m sure they would’ve made me replace the whole module.
Also I installed a 30 amp fuse thinking it would go out. It’s been sitting strong for the past 3 monrhs
A “like and subscribe” shouldn’t be enough. You’ve done me a huge favor
Thanks Mr. Butt Pounder :) I'm glad my video helped you out!
7:39 Perfect form
How did you know that that was the problem initial, the fuse?
After looking around online i found out it seemed to be a common issue, so I was taking it apart to see if the fuse was bad in the first place. Im thankful it was bad because I wouldnt know what to do next hahaha
@@yurka23 haha perfect🤣
Did you get any service error code? I just had freon filled up this monday, AC working fine, then on friday it stopped working, no cold air, and I got the service error (in the service mode)
Error: THC_d0011_presSnsDis
Do you know if this could be the same issue as yours?
@@jennojinx Maybe who ever refilled your freon didn't put enough or too much?
@@yurka23 I don't think so, they said they filled it all the way up 100% - had it done at a professional shop.
What type of gas tesla use ? R134a or r1234yf
It should say on the inside hood of the car
What web site did you buy your jack pads from.
I got it from amazon amzn.to/3kHTWfk
honestly I don't even use the frunk, they should just make it easier to fix.
if the frunk had a electric lift like the trunk I would use it a lot more.
What is the fuse part number and were did you ordered it?
FWP-40A14F on ebay, seller says he still has some in stock, got it for $30
@@yurka23 Do you have the part number for the heater fuse? I'd prefer to replace both when they're accessible.
@@TMART09 I'm thinking they are both the same type of fuse

Was there any shred metals exploded in your AC compressor? Tesla service want to charger me $3823 to replace my AC compressor. They're charging me $820 for parts and $2928 for labor. I feel like iam getting rip off ...😞
Same here... 3.hours for flushing and cleaning the system
Неплохо друг ты повозился с теслой)
Ага спасибо за просмотр, давно не разговаривали! если у тебя есть discord добавь меня whyji#3725
tesla needs to place thoes fuses in the top the hood. they don't know what the fuse box at the hood.
Yeah I agree, really dumb design with that
A 400 volt fuse should not be in the same fuse box as the 12 volt fuses. It would need to be in an orange box with the appropriate warnings.
And ur warranty is gone
What warranty? It's an 8 year old car.
What a stupid design.
Indeed :( 😞
