Zanya is by far my #1 most wanted figure across all the factions. I'd love to see her decked out with hand grenades ( or anything explosives related). She's just such a cool and unique looking character. Also loved your Rugrat suggestion, he'd be another really unique one for Classified to add.

GI Joe Extreme had a character named Mayday. She was never put into production, but there's a picture of her in package, floating around the net.

Battle Force 2000! I think they’d look like the Space Marines from Aliens if done as Classified
Finally someone talks about the Battle Force 2000 figures for classified, tbh i not a big fan of those characters and also i kinda of forgot about them... but yeah they can be cool looking classified figures!
Yeah, Larry Hama killed most of them off in the comic, but they have a good look

Zanya is one of my most wanted out of all the characters. Had her in 3 and 3/4. I love your list and your channel man. Always entertaining and informative. also: Pythona please!
They've got to throw in an Adventure Team Commander aka Joe Colton. And some of the accessories can be references to various AT sets. I don't know about a whole line of them, but that most iconic figure and the fact he kind of became an ARAH character would make it work.
I want the heavy gunner Iron Grenadier. Dude looked so cool.
Pale Peony was first introduced in the DDP Storm shadow series. Latter brought into the ARAH line. She was only killed because of Dawn being emphasized. 😂
Yeah, she has a cool look. I like her Devil's Due version better. She's a bit nastier there
This is a very good list. And it includes characters I have given thought to and would like to see in the Classified line, and maybe in some offer form of Media related to Classified, like a comic or cartoon…
- Iron Claw - This is one of those characters that would have worked well in the ARAH line had it continued. He was interesting enough to flesh out.
- Skull Buster - just Yes. Especially if they went with the more feral version, but any would sue here really.
- Zanya - another just Yes. Good character with some background that is solid enough and yet has room to flesh out even more. As you said, there are always room for more Dreadnoks, so I’d love to see her. Hell, Might as well add Burnout and Heartwrencher too.
Yeah, they need some sort of new media. The comics have potential. I'm hoping they bring in some characters that never were used--like Shadow Tracker
It would be cool to have “Thornton “ from G.I. Joe European missions issue #1. It was a short story and he was wearing a “Copperhead “ outfit with Copperhead minus the helmet.
Thanks for putting these ideas out there. These cuts go deep. If I had the power or the cool desk at Hasbro, I'd go with your some of your very first deep cuts - Kwinn and Dr. Venom. They are essential and it's criminal to leave them out of the classified figure line-up. On this current list, Mara and Raven would be awesome - female energy plus something more grounded for Cobra. One reason Habro flew off the rails and crashed with GI Jone in the late 1980s was a focus on outlandish, faceless, troop builder figures for Cobra. Another reason was dumb looking Joes, but that started earlier in 86' with replacements for some of the earlier Joes. I'm talking Sci-Fi putting my original Joe, Flash, into the grave with that neon-green outfit. Finally, yes, there CAN be too many ninjas, but Obake Obaasan would make a cool classified figure. I'm down with old people. There should be more action figure toys depicting old ladies, and I do mean that sincerely.
yes, there are too many ninjas. Some of em are pretty lazy in their creation. But a granny GI Joe figure would be fun
It's so stupid that we will probably never get a hooded Cobra Commander. That's the clown world we live in. I'm a cartoon fan so the only one on your list I'm interested in is Mara. She was also in a two part episode called "There's No Place Like Springfield" where she was actually a synthoid. These episodes were a callback to both "The Synthoid Conspiracy" (which was another great two pater) and "Memories of Mara" her debut. Cobra really messed with Shipwreck's head in "There's No Place Like Springfield" . They gave him the perfect life just for it to be taken away from him. That was one of the cartoon's most mature stories. I honestly get a little choked up when I watch those episodes. And they are some of the reasons why Shipwreck is one of my favorite G.I.Joe characters.
Yeah, the Hood controversy makes little sense. The cartoon surprisingly holds up as very watchable... much better than most others. Like, try to watch He-Man now, and you won't make it five minutes

Bree Van Mark - She was a super weathy, super cute (probably hottest GI Joe character ever) love interest of Lifeline in Season 2, Episode 11 - "Million Dollar Medic". She was actually a very likeable character and was truly the co-star of the episode from start to finish. She would sell once people realize who she is.

Growing up i had the Brazil Team pack and remember the slapped together figure Claymore who i hated back then but wouldn't mind now. If not the whole team even just a Dial Tone would be good. The variations of Dial Tone and Wet Suit in that pack were my favorites for them. Didnt care for the Leatherneck and Mainframe repaints.
Great list. I’ll take them all. Like I said in other UA-camrs video. Gi joe is awesome, but was always a 4 or 5 on my property list. But the joe classified team is absolutely killing it and they are some of my fav figures. Every time I get one and open it, I’m blown away.

Great video - I would say Cold Slither would be a great SDCC exclusive set - and something you didn't mention.
Big fan of Sigma Six too, pretty much light hearted GI Joe Anime. Some of the character designs were cool,vehicle designs were amazing. Long Range, Hi- Tech, Lt. Stone & Machete also might work in Classified.
the Paine Brothers, DeSade, Crispo and Torquemada from GI Joe Vol 1 #95! Snake Eyes defeats them and gets his recently restored face burned AGAIN! He then uses their clothes and weapons to for his V3 costume...

How about Classified Sparks? A sort of obscure character who appeared prominently in the '84 mini series and a handful of regular episodes. He also turned into a much bigger character in the Devil's Due comics, including Hama's Declassified series. I think it was the Collector's Club that put out kind of a kit-bashed version

Great list! I wouldn’t mind seeing your 15, in this video, join the Classified ranks. IMO, the least interesting of the 15 in Mara; but she can still be “modernized” as a female Eel or Hydro-Viper. I’m most intrigued by the Dark Ninja Master. I had completely forgotten about him, until I saw your “ninjas” video. Since they made Dark Ninjas, in the Retaliation line, I could see them both brought into Classified. I have some wants in the Classified line as well. Joe Colton and Freestyle, on the Joe side and Hotwire and Dr. Venom; on the Cobra side.
I use the head of Marvel Legends D'Spayre on my Range Viper body to make a simple version of Skull Buster.
Would love to see a Steel Cobra (Cobra De Aco), I feel like they could update him and make him pretty sick.
GI Joe Classified should be like Funko Pops. There are so many Funko Pops out there it wouldn't surprise me if one day I found one of myself.
Instead of a bikini Baroness, how about "casually dressed" Baroness from issue 136? When she's at home with Destro she's wearing a leather mini and great big boots. Great look for her if I say so myself.
For a deep cut, how about a Rap Viper in honor of Wordburglar? Classified might not want to do it but someone should make a custom for him.
I'd like to see them do the Sargent slaughter Renegades I'd like to see them put Mercer in a full on Viper vest

I would love a Storm Rider and Burnout figure, to build up my Dreadnok collection. They're both pretty much mechanics that have a great look. Neither of them quite fit the mold of the standard Dreadnok.
How about some non-combatants like "Lady Doomsday" and the secret group of generals, the "jugglers"?
Bludgeon, after seeing that convention exclusive he needs a classified figure. Yeah he's Transformer pretender but his deaths head samurai mode just works better in this line. I mean he was in the comics so he counts

While we are at it, why not just make a extended line with 4 or less figures a year with alternate reality or universe characters. Just a kind of why not sub line.

There was an episode when Quick-Kick was teaching martial arts & a girl named Amber, that fell for him. At the end of the ep, she hinted she wanted to join the Joes. Nothing ever came of it though.
Perhaps we can get Zarana in disguise, when she seduced Main Frame & again in the 87 Movie with Falcon. Both costumes would be great! ( "Zarana!! I didn't know it was you!!!" ) Had to do it!! Lol
