Im curious because the Ridgeline is built on the 2018-2022 Pilot's frame. The 2023-2025 Pilot looks great, but the current Ridgeline shares the same front fascia as the current Passport. They could go either way or a whole new direction. Can't wait

Great job, Joe, of introducing us to this new Honda Passport Trailsport. I like the esthetics of the new front end so it doesn't look like a jelly bean. I am thankful that someone thought of collapsible tow hooks we it would have been nice to have that a long time ago. I think Honda has a real winner here.
Everyone is so shocked that the Prologue is selling well, it has a similar design. It's a modern car that doesn't look like every other car on the road... people are starving for designs like this.
Given that the new Landcruiser starts at mid 50K, and with all the bells and whistles making it more offroad worthy you are looking almost 80k, I think the cost is competitive.
Thank you for the first look of the Passport. I knew the Passport was coming but I specifically chose the 25 Pilot Trailsport for it's roominess that I could put an air mattress in there for light off-road camping with the wife and two small dogs. And to be honest, the Passport is a looker.
Fantastic redesign! It looks much more sporty and fun than last generation. I don't mind this was heavily influenced by Bronco Sport-- because I trust Honda over Ford on reliability and won't have to worry about fuel injectors leaking all over the place. The cargo area looks amazing-- love all that space and functionality. The styling is super cool and no soccer-mom look whatsoever. Love the V6 with automatic combination and that vibrant color. Dash looks great too-- no gigantic distracting screens. I would prefer a stick gear shifter over the buttons, but I'm not going to whine about this just to score likes. That's probably the only zonk on this car other than fake intake vent-- everything else looks flawless! This will likely beat the Bronco Sport in sales

I do work in the cubicle all day long and when I am not in the cubicle I deliver packages to people so yes I definitely need this Passport Trail sport both to go on adventure and haul packaged lol. I really like this new design and the color. Never own a Honda SUV and the wife wants the new CRV hybrid so I am going to have to wait a little longer maybe the 2nd gen of this 😂
Going from a 2012 Honda civic coupe to moving to Chicago and getting a 2023 Honda CRV fresh off the lot for the awd I am now in full regret. This vehicle resonates with my lifestyle. Honda did an outstanding job with this vehicle
If Honda takes the ridgeline and uses this styling plus adds the Silverado midgate fold down plus the bed storage. Holy crap you got a cool funky utility vehicle that has great styling.
this makes me hopeful for the future of the honda suv's! glad they are now taking into consideration the overlanding scene. hope they take some of these design cues and add them to the ridgleline in the future
1994 I was working as the Tech Project Leader for the HONDA automobile line @ Honda HQ in Torrance CA ... and yes there was a Honda (Isuzu) Passport (a nice truck-like SUV back in the day) ... apologies if this sounds like a rant ... but a note for KIA/HYUNDAI execs .... this is a good example of how to make a good-looking and functional vehicle without all the doodads/gizmos/over-styling that is inherent with KIA/HYUNDAI vehicles ... AND EVERYBODY PLEASE NOTE ... YES ... HONDA RESISTED BEING A FOLLOWER AND DIDN"T JUST TACK ON A MONITOR ... a real dashboard ... Go Honda ...this seems like a nice vehicle for the wifey (since I already have a 25 Civic SI) ...yes there are lots of fruits in CA ...lol ... and I'm from El Segundo CA

IMO most new cars over the past few years have either been disappointing or just ok, but this Passport is a winner! The only thing I don't like is the gear selector (I prefer a physical gear shift knob), but overall I'm definitely interested in this.
You pay a Honda Tech $200 an hour to remove the skid plate!! Ha Ha!!! Seriously, if it's the same as the 2025, they allowed a "hole" in the plate for that purpose...no need to remove it.
Joe how much more headroom does this one have over the previous model? I’m 6’5. I need at least 41 inches of headroom. And at least 42 inches of legroom
This 2026 Passport Trailsport looks to be (Vastly) improved as an off road vehicle over past Trailsports, it is not a Rock Crawler but with Steel skidplates and improved clearance angles and wider and larger wheelbase its going to be a very good vehicle for unimproved roads and even field worthy that you can drive in pastures, fields, desert trails, etc.. And its pretty nice looking outside and roomy nice interior also.
Looks similar to the orange they used on the 06 Element EX. Loving those wheels. Very nice choice if you are looking for a reliable SUV with great value and usability.
Just about perfect. Only thing I wish it had a rolldown rear window like my Sequoia. Use that all the time to throw my kayak in the back or get stuff without opening the hatch.

Loving the Honda Passport & even though it looks very very amazing I think it is a dandy. Now official pricing has not been set in stone as of yet I love the "FAKE HOOD SCOOP" on the hood I feel without it, there will be too much orange.
