She looks absolutely stunning!! I don't know if you realised, but this month actually marks the 100th anniversary of when Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered, so this is perfect timing for an Ancient Egyptian doll!
Kathleen Martinez have been looking 4 Kleopatra 4 years and she is the one finding the Possible tomb. 😍 she is also a part of the Lost treasures of egypt series where we can fallow her Journey. 😍
your story made me think of an idea: turn Frankie into Mary Shelly!! You could take similar historical insp for the other girls of the G3 line too since Cleo kinda kicked it off in a way
So glad the dolls came easily from the US. I really like the old MH dolls better than the new, with exception of the more normal body. BUT as usual, incredibly perfect creation!!! And such a funny occurrence with Nefertiti’s head in your powder room!!!
I remember learning briefly about Nefertiti in middle school and thinking how gorgeous the iconic bust of her looked. I wonder if Nefertiti herself would’ve liked this doll as it’s almost like an idol of herself?! 🤔
Fellow Egyption here , I was so happy and excited when I saw the thumbnail , haven't started the video yet but I'm sure it'll turn out amazing as usual Update: Wow I love your attention to detail so much everything turned out wonderful and the way you drew her eyes is beautiful and her features are Egyption looking , I also love the fact that you always do your research. It's heart warming.
Something about the new faces make them so beautifully suited for your style. Like, I love the old Monster High as much as anyone else, but these new dolls have reinvigorated my artistic drive, and seeing how beautiful your Nefertiti looks (which is fitting since she was supposedly one of the most beautiful women who ever lived), I simply HAVE to paint one for myself.
I love how colorful her headpiece is! I study the ancient Mediterranean, and oftentimes because the art that we see today is faded or sunbleached, people think that it was always supposed to look that way. but the ancient world was very colorful! I love how you chose silk so it would drape properly, and the beads are just amazing!!! I love her!
I heard that some archeologists and historians would remove any paint on busts because they thought the painted busts and statues didn't look sophisticated. I think I learned this is an art class, it's sad to know people are so willing to change historical evidence to fit the standards of the time
This is such a treat for me! I'm a scholar of Egyptology 💕and I hoping to become an Egyptologist someday! This was awesome! And take your Nefertiti statue out of the bathroom 🤣 keep her somewhere respectfully. 💕
Omg that’s so cool! I’ve always loved Ancient Egypt, I wish I could be an Egyptologist ( but I’m not great with school xD) I hope you get to be one! Also any cool facts to share..? sorry I’m just excited 👉👈
@@KingOfGaymes Thank you so much🤗💕 I loved everything about Ancient Egypt since I was a 10years old. Many many not know but, Nefertiti completely disappeared from history. She was the wife of the controversial Pharoah, Akhenaten. They are theories that he got rid of her, or she ran away , some say she died , but they are no records or her death, not was her mummy found. Which is strange since she was Queen consort. They said she was against her husband's ways and might have gone against him and also since she couldn't give him a male heir this caused discord between them. After her disappearance, and Akhenatens death, his Son Tutankhamun was Pharoah, and he banished all legacy and trace of his father from all possible ancient records. It's very sad since we assume she really suffered a lot emotionally and know today how beautiful she was, no one truly knows what happened to her. The bust of Nefertiti was in fact found in the workshop of a sculptor named Tuthmosis. By a German excavation team. She still remains a mystery till this day, and never fails to capture the awe of everyone who glance her timeless beauty.
For a minute I thought Poppen had inhaled a little too much Mr Super Clear then she explained it was an actual model head under the sink, phew 😅. A lovely Nefertiti.
I didn't know why you saw Nefertiti so clearly at the beginning, but at the end I was shocked by how closely she resembled the famous statue! I so appreciated the outfit and accessories which look so much like the historical examples. Most people don't pleat the fabric and choose more opaque fabrics. Such an amazing doll!
What a beautiful doll! And those accesories are amazingly detailed and beautiful! I almost can't believe that dress is not sewn, it looks so regal and stunning! Love historical dolls! Could you please do a medieval princess? I really like the new monster high dolls, not as much as the first gen, but they are quite cute. I do wish their shoes were as detailed as the ones from previous generations, and the necks were longer, specially in Frankie. The chest articulation is a huge improvement, tho.
I'd also love to see a medieval princess, especially if she has one of those cool complicated headpieces with braided-up hair, there's so much cool potential for memorable designs there!
I’ve been waiting “centuries” for you to do an accurate Ancient Egyptian doll. Thank u for the historical accuracy in miniature it turned out beautiful. I too am exciting for the discovery of Nefertitis mummy if it is real. Impressed with your beading skills as well such tiny details
The newer dolls are quite a bit different than the old ones. You do an awesome job as usual transforming her into your vision. Keep up the awesome work.
She is STUNNING! I really like the face mold, so beautiful. Seeing all the beautiful photos of your recent dolls really shows how much you have grown as an artist since you created your current intro, although all those dolls are really lovely, they dont show off how good you are now! So maybe time to update the photos in the intro?
Another fantastic transformation. Nefertiti is a beauty icon for the ages and you did her justice. Your videos are fascinating, immersive and so satisfying. Your artistic vision and superlative skills, and beautifully lit and edited content are enough to draw me in, and your charming presentation and melodious voice take your channel to the the highest level of UA-cam content providers. I’m a big fan!
I have loved learning about Ancient Egypt since I was just a little kid and it inspired me to persue archaeology and anthropology. So when I saw this video come up I was beyond excited. You did such an amazing job in capturing her image and everything is so beautiful! I truly think Nefertiti herself would adore the work you did.
Same here! I’ve loved it for as long as I can remember omg I remember going to an exhibit about king Tutankhamen in elementary school and it’s probably the best school related memory I have 💜 Seeing actual artifacts from the tomb was absolutely incredible.. I hope I can go to Egypt itself one day and see the museum of antiquities and the ancient buildings.. And the pyramids.. oh I’d cry if I went ♥️
I feel you when you said you watched hours of Nefertiti documentaries because I did the same XD. She is such a fascinating character/person/personality that I just love to know everything I can about her. I also did binge watch all I could find about Cleopatra, Anne Boleyn and Elisabeth I. Nefertiti turned out absolutely beautiful! Like always you did outdo yourself and achieved such an amazing result!.
the bead necklace is fantastic! as for the new monster high dolls i bought the new draculaura so i could make a mini-me but she's so adorable i almost don't want to customize her, i've been putting off that project to work on other projects so she just sits around waiting
Beautiful just beautiful!! Your channel is the first doll channel I started following and I just LOVE YOU'RE DOLLS!!!! All of your work is just fabulous and all the doll channels are awesome;!!!! Thanks for sharing your work with all of us!!!!!
i'm shocked at the new body proportions!! these dolls' bodies are really beautiful! i can't wait to see the doll customizing community get busy with them!
I don't think i ever mentioned before, but i admire your attention to detail extending to colouring the whole body, no matter how much is covered by the costume. That's true professionalism. Once again, you created a gorgeous doll. I'm not surprised you did a great job with the beading, even though it was your first go at it, well done.
When you said you were going to put the necklace together completely intuitively, with no instruction, I got nervous, but then it came together absolutely beautifully! This has to be my favourite doll from you.
It’s so clear that this was something you were so passionate. I’ve watched lots of your videos but this one stands out above the rest. You did an amazing job!
that headpiece is incredible!! the beaded necklace also blew my mind i love how you have her a nice big eye socket youre so casual about how amazing you are- i NEED to see you do Frankie next!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a beautiful result! I absolutely love the accuracy to the statue, the doll enhances gives Nefertiti vibrant life and color. Amazing job, she's gorgeous 🥰!
I always assumed that the sculptor took inspiration from this iconic bust. Seeing the head without paint confirmed that belief. It is a beautiful sculpt. As always you created a beautiful doll. You really brought the iconic beauty of Nefertiti to life in 1/6th scale. The crown is an amazing scale recreation. And then you gave her a collar. The dress is perfectin it's simplicity. Individual pieces are amazing. Together, stunning.
It's not just your imagination! I can see it too, the resemblance and especially after your repaint! Your work and dedication is so inspiring! Your dolls are always so intricate and beautiful! The beaded necklace is a absolute work of art and the headpiece is a beautiful historically accurate rendition!!
Again, I am amazed at your skill and talent!!! I really love the details on the new body. I know many folks don’t like the new dolls, but I’m not in this industry. Your making the necklace was the icing on the cake!!! I think it’s a wonderful addition!
the fastest i've ever been in my life. edit: aagghh and the doll is so gorgeous. the dress and the necklace was just awesome! also i paint and draw but will never have the courage to paint the highlights first as you did with the gold leaf because i know i'm gonna ruin it in the process. too much stress for my heart. im always on the edge when you do that--- greatt work!! also ive been watching you for years now and this is my first like from you🥺🥺
The moment you took her makeup off and had the sculpted crown on her I could totally see how perfect her face mold was for Nefertiti. She was made for this.
She's beautiful, really original and authentic. Also I really like their's new body type, much more realistic and healthy looking, no giving broken spine vibes XD
She looks amazing! That beaded necklace was the perfect touch. I love how you push artistic skills with every doll and the results are always so beautiful.

This is a great idea! She should turn Draculaura into Bathory, the blood countess. That would be interesting to see.
I LOVED how you aimed for historical accuracy with this! It turned out lovely and the beaded piece was truly incredible!

Hi Cynthia! 🤗
@@PoppenAtelier Hello Maryna! Thinking this is your best…but I always think that!!! ❤️
I agree
Yeah the new reboot is terrible this doll is amazingly transformed x a lovely tribute
I really love the new dolls and the bodies of the new ones I think most people don’t like it because it’s for the newer generation of kids
"Nefertiti is waving to me through time and space" was so wholesome and warmed my soul.

I wonder if Nefertiti herself would’ve liked this doll as it’s almost like an idol of herself?! 🤔
I think she gonna love it, you see that colar? She made it with so much love and dedication... that's even beatiful!
