Trace Adkins is a very kind and generous person who just this past weekend gave a free concert in our Tornado stricken town of Mayfield Ky which was devastated and destroyed on December 10, 2021. an EF4 tornado left 24 people dead and at least 200 people injured in Graves County Kentucky, according to the National Weather Service. Trace stopped here to help raise money and bring awareness as our people work and struggle to rebuild, on his " Somewhere in America Tour". Yes were gonna miss this but we will rise up better than ever.

An interesting fact about this Trace Adkin's video is it was filmed in his hometown of Sarepta, Louisiana (population 687 as of 2021). Through out the video he is driving around the town he grew up in and, apparently, at the end of the video his dad still lives there.

Makes me remember my childhood days where my mom worked 2 jobs as a single mom so I spent a lot of time at my best friend's house before and after school. Her family is my family and her mom was my second mom. I lost my second mom to cancer back in 2020. I'm a nurse and I got the call from my best friend one night at work that she had past away so I went in cried in the break room. I took those days fore granted and ever since then I've been trying to cherish every second of every day with my loved ones.

I lost my stepdad a while back and my son just graduated high school and we had named him after my stepdad who was an animal control officer for 40 years and my son wore his badge on his gown for the ceremony to feel like he was there. I just wanted to tell you sorry for your loss I lost both my mom and dad 11 months apart and I still miss them just as much as the first day but time will take the edge off your pain once you get through it being so raw right now it’s like an open wound but I want you to know you will eventually get to where it’s not so raw and you will be able to talk about and tell stories and laugh but it will take some time and everybody gets through in it in their own time I try to always be somebody they would be proud of and I know the last thing they would want is for me to always be sad
