I can't believe this game came 15 years ago. Looks better than some games even if it's aged. Vehicles getting crushed, destroyed bent, ragdoll phisics for driver etc...
God this game is still Amazing!! Just pure gameplay, incredible track design, incredible visuals, sound. And it's not relying on open world, upgrading shit diluting the experience. Simply fantastic!!
PlayStation 1 had wipeout XL, PS2 had Hot Pursuit 2 and SSX3, and PS3 had motorstorm Pacific Rift. There's always 1 or 2 timeless racing games on every platform. motorstorm PR has such an addictive physics handling and weight to it. Very few developers were aware of how much this hooks the player. The sense of weight, momentum, gravity, etc.

Hoping they will eventually add Motorstorm and Motorstorm Pacific Rift to the PS Plus library on PS4/PS5 but I highly doubt it due to the licensed soundtracks in both games. Motorstorm Apocalypse is most likely only on there because it had an original soundtrack.
It's a shame companies forgot how to make good games like this. They're more worried about things to can give a woke narrative too and forgot the game has to be good to push agendas.
Exactly. Games made back in the day were games made by men, for men. COD: World at War, Motorstorm, MX vs. ATV, Left 4 Dead, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, GTA: SA, IV, Doom, God of War to name a few. They were simpler, didn't mention wokeness once, they embraced their series character, their demographic culture, their interests and more. It's franchises like this that make me wish we stayed in the 90's to early 2000's forever.
