- This is a message to all the "bad guys" out there! You dont have to be the bad guy! So come home.. you're ALL forgiven.. lets move on and up now together!!
One of the most profound moments in a kids movie I've seen!
Slight Spoiler but well worth it and still worth seeing the whole movie! Its excellent!! - Розваги
This is one of these movie that looks really silly but at the end you realize how good and emotional it becomes
Like Free Guy
It’s so heartwarming
Don't you wish humanity could sit down every oppressive world leader, every blood sucking corporation, every hardened criminal and have this exact talk with them.
@@jonclement952 maybe that's the message the producers wanted for the scene
This truly is one of those scenes that manages to turn a "funny movie" into a "good movie". Gets me every time :__)
Yeah
That look on Finn's Dad's face when he realizes that this his how his son sees him
HOLY SHIT!!!!
Fighting hate with love. This movie made me believe in that.

Guys stop. Your all just mad because Chris Patt isn’t Italian.
What in the actual fu-
This movie could have so easily just have been a shallow 90-minute toy commercial. I mean yeah it still kinda is, but what the Lego Movie has above all its imitators is that it has actual heart put into it. It's not just a movie with Lego in it, it actually captures how it *feels* to play with Lego, and all the different ways people play with them, and just being creative in general. It completely blew my expectations out of the water, and remains one of my favorite films of all time.
It’s a 90 minute Lego commercial done right
ok, but hear me out, I can kind of understand the dad glueing stuff, like imagine you got one of those lego models, spent hours on it, accidentally knock it down, boom, hours of progress and work down the drain.
@@H3L1X4X1S True true, but like said in the movie, it can become something new. Bear with me here for repeating the movie's message, but it's all about creativity

This would’ve made Mr. Rogers proud. Fighting hate with love.
That what we need in this world sometimes.
i swear something get in my eye real bad when it got to this part of the movie
Malcolm Joseph dude, I'm crying right now. "You don't have to be the bad guy" helped me go on.
Emmet may have been talking to Lord Business but when he was talking to the camera, he was also talking to us.
I specifically watch this scene to hear those words. I have never heard them in my life and I try my hardest to believe he is really saying that to me, that he knows and cares about who I am.
I cry at this scene all the time.
Me too
Me three
Me four
me five
Mario comforts Gru, Megamind, Wreck-it Ralph, and Mr. Wolf
Am I crying or did I just step on a lego?
You didn't step on a Lego, your heart did
It’s been 7 Years and I’m still nostalgic by this movie… That scene was Beautiful, Emmets speech was Beautiful… The LEGO Movie is and always will be the Best movie of all time, and my Favorite Movie ever…
7 YEARS???????!! damn i feel old now lol i still remember when i saw the movie for the first time
Yep. Same here!
Why this movie don't get the Oscars of the best animated movie ?! Its funny, it have a great message and super animation.
sometimes you just think
"WAIT, EMMET WAS CHRIS PRATT???"
"IF HE CAN DO THIS, THEN I BETTER HOPE HE DOES HIS BEST IN THE NEW MARIO"
Agreed
And he did so well as Mario.

This is one of my favorite emotional scenes in cinema. It is one of the reasons why The Lego Movie is my favorite movies of all time.
It's been nearly eight years since i fell in love with this movie, and still, to this day, this scene never fails to make me feel things.
Mario: You don't have to be the bad guy.
Bowser: Don't tempt me.
The overlay of Business' armored boots paired with the dads footsteps is what gets me for some reason

Classic lego movie quote moment
This is one of the best movie scenes of all time
i remember being 10 years old going to theatres bc i thought this would be an entitely silly movie, yet i remember bawling my eyes out at such an emotional scene, such a fantastic movie, i still consider it one of the best movies ive ever watched, such a passionate movie, you love to see it
One thing I love before this scene is the dad's slow realization. The villain of the movie, Lord Business is a direct match to how the father looks. He looks at the figure and realizes that that's what his son views him as. A corrupt businessman who ruins the things he makes. And this is the final thing that solidifies his decision to let his son play. It's the realization he's just hurting his son's incredible creativity.
"You don't have to be the bad guy"
*nearly every Mario voice stan after the movie trailer*
They became the bad guy. Welp, they're becoming Goombas! Time to go stomp!

He did the Italian accent!
If Ralph heard this
Now that i'm seeing this again, I'm now thinking "how does a movie about building blocks get this deep?"
But however, it was a very memorable scene that made this movie one of the best
I really love this quote ☺
message we are all special we just need to realize it and all come together
Can’t believe this movies old I used to watch it when I was younger, it was my favorite!
I am very emotional when it comes to movies with scenes like this
... I'm at a loss for words. That was... incredible... just... it hits deep... I don't know what else to say, that was just... wow.
What if Barley Lightfoot said that to Sid Phillips, Hopper, Stinky Pete, Mr. Waternoose, Dr. Phillip Sherman and Darla, Syndrome, Chick Hicks, Chef Skinner, AUTO, Charles Muntz, Lotso, Professor Zundapp, Sir Miles Axerlod, Grem and Acer, Mordu, Johnny Worthington, Jangles the Clown, Thunderclap, Jackson Storm, Sterling, Ernesto de la Cruz, Evelyn Deavor, Terry from Soul, and Ercole Visconti?
Or Mario to Bowser, Junior, King Boo, Cody, Koopa and Goomba?
This movie was so amazing, its so nostalgic 🔥🔥🔥 (i am half japenese)
Could you imagine Mario saying that to Wario and Waluigi.
Chris Pratt is not bad, but it's just because the entire twitter is the entire circus.
Chris isn't bad, but people have the right to criticize his opinions. A lot of people have "traditional values," and said values are horrible sometimes, but he's still human, and he can be changed.
@@andyroobrick-a-brack9355
He’s Christian that’s it. He hasn’t said anything bad to anyone and he hasn’t done anything bad to anyone. Did he preach at a church who doesn’t believe in LGBT ideologies? Possibly but that’s something that might be a part of their beliefs and we can’t just force them to change. Again that church doesn’t want to destroy or harm anybody they just don’t believe in those ideas, I think of it on the fact that I come from a Jewish background and the people who follow my religion believe that Jesus isn’t our messiah, nobody can force us to change our beliefs (and trust me people have tried and it has always ended BADLY). So for what’s being done to Chris Pratt, we should change our direction. Why do we have to destroy his career and livelihood because there’s a possibility that he doesn’t believe in the same things that most of us do?
@@tallerwarrior1256 You realize Christians have tried, and succeeded, in changing my ideology, right? The entire point of Evangelizing for Christians is to force their beliefs down people's throats, right? If I don't have the right to question their religion, they have less of a right to question the rights of others, because where's God is an unknown concept, homosexuality is a completely different thing because it is an un-choosable biological component. There's a difference between criticizing religion or politics and criticizing people based off of race or sex, because sexual identity is a human rights issue.
In short, I respect people's right to believe whatever they want, even of it's horrible. However, I have the right to call you out for your crappy beliefs. I have the right to call you an idiot or immoral, or more accurately, I have the right to try to be understanding and kind while calling people out. Gay rights are human rights, and while you can believe in the Abrahamic stance on gay issues, it doesn't mean I don't have the right to debate and combat those harmful views. Some things go beyond religious and personal belief and go to full-on homophobia, which is far more intrusive than any insensitive atheist.
@@andyroobrick-a-brack9355
Right and that forceful change doesn’t happen anymore or at least at the scale that it used to and again I believe that forcing anyone to do anything against their will is wrong. However that goes both ways. Can you criticize people for believing in certain things, of course you can. But that doesn’t give people the right to witch hunt others online and ruin their livelihood, especially if the allegations against them aren’t actually fact and are just that allegations.
@@tallerwarrior1256 That was the point of my comment, or at least I believe it was (my memory isn't too great, lol.) But I can agree to an extent, things like personal beliefs that mean nothing in the grand social scheme (like religious beliefs) are nothing to ruin someone's livelyhood over. I'm just as much for civil, rational, empathetic discussion of ideas and philosophy rather than crusading against new perspectives, as I believe that a big problem with humanity is the lack of perspective we have towards one another's ideas. Cancel Culture is this decade's manifestation of that, and hopefully we can find a way not just to solve internet lynching, but also to help people with bad ideas. Because of we don't help them, it does nothing. If anything, those with extremely homophobic ideas (not the average Evangelical's view of it, EXTREME Evangelicals) may be emboldened. Persecution is a big part of many sects of Abrahamic religions, so it's especially high with those types of people.
In short, I agree with what you said almost entirely. Cancelling does little to stop the spread of information and ideology. It can hypothetically stop rapists or active pedophiles, but ultimately, it does little memetically. As I said, I don't hate Chris Pratt, I used to harbor those same ideas, and I know there's a better way to educate people about that: discussion.
And then the sequel ignored this.
And then Into the Spider Verse happened.
Imagine if Sonic said that to Nine on Sonic Prime.
You know.
I use to play with toys and just made up story’s.
And this speech made me think of this.
