My guess was a when your the fat kid in Hollywood and the butt of everyone’s jokes you tend to not trust anyone and I think Dan Schneider didn’t treat Josh like the fat kid because he too was the “fat kid” so he gravitated towards him.

I believe since they practically grew up together and bonded together artistically with work they obviously had some type of bond. Makes me think about my ex best friend I had since I was 4. After watching both sides separately I think Drake just had the wrong idea of the relationship. Josh simply didn't view him as an actual friend, even though Drake seemed to want to be his actual friend after the show was done. Maybe both of them are correct, and there was a lack of understanding. Still, I feel bad for Drake. He thought there was a genuine friendship from an experience they mutually experienced, but I guess it's just not that way for Josh.

Went through the same thing with a friend of mine and my brother. We had a friend who was a really good leader to us in church for a number of years. He got married and then he told us that we should go our separate ways. He never invited us to his bachelor party, let alone his wedding. He said that because he was married now, he felt it was necessary to cut us out of his life. I have autism, and for me, it’s difficult to let people go from my life, and it’s difficult handling being let go. I’ve had friends end their friendships with me before, and it doesn’t feel good at all. But this, this broke my heart so hard. Sounds like either he was a fake, two-sided friend before he got married and used it as an excuse to cut off the friendship, OR he was a genuine friend who went down a crappy path - maybe his new wife even “told” him to cut you off. Believe me, behaviors like your friend’s are also hard for non-autistic people to grasp, and to let go of. I think they were probably friendlier than what Josh likes to admit right now. It's pretty high school tbh We had a friend who was the loveable nerd. He was a bit chunky but the only people that would tease him were the popular kids. He lost alot of weight and started to hang out with the same kids that used to make fun of him. He would literally act like he was better than or refuse to acknowledge that he used to hang with us. That's the vibe Josh gives off.

The dude ended up flirting with my ex-girlfriend while I was still with her. I wanted to talk to him to hash it out, but he treated me like I'm the bad guy. People like Josh will play the victim, and try to "distance" themselves from their previous self that they hated. This is a red flag on it's own; self-hatred. Its possible for 2 people to have different perspectives of their relationship. It's not uncommon for 1 person to think they are best friends and 1 person to think they are just acquainted. Weddings are important and you have to be selective with your guest list. Maybe they are friends but it wasn't a relationship where Josh felt like he needed to invite him. Look I've not been invited to weddings that are done by people I think are my friends but I just say ok well I guess we aren't close and I move on. I don't write stuff online saying I'm cutting ties with them. Sometimes it's not about you. Sometimes it's about a list and the priority of that list like family and a few close friends.

Plus he was always getting girls. It was a good time in life for him where he had money, fame, and his music was popular. After watching both sides separately I think Drake just had the wrong idea of the relationship. Josh simply didn't view him as an actual friend, even though Drake seemed to want to be his actual friend after the show was done. Maybe both of them are correct, and there was a lack of understanding. Still, I feel bad for Drake. He thought there was a genuine friendship from an experience they mutually experienced, but I guess it's just not that way for Josh.

He got married and then he told us that we should go our separate ways. He never invited us to his bachelor party, let alone his wedding. He said that because he was married now, he felt it was necessary to cut us out of his life. I have autism, and for me, it’s difficult to let people go from my life, and it’s difficult handling being let go. Sounds like either he was a fake, two-sided friend before he got married and used it as an excuse to cut off the friendship, OR he was a genuine friend who went down a crappy path - maybe his new wife even “told” him to cut you off.
Believe me, behaviors like your friend’s are also hard for non-autistic people to grasp, and to let go of. Sometimes the only option is radical acceptance of the situation, and accepting that you may never understand this one.

Its possible for 2 people to have different perspectives of their relationship. It's not uncommon for 1 person to think they are best friends and 1 person to think they are just acquainted. Weddings are important and you have to be selective with your guest list. Maybe they are friends but it wasn't a relationship where Josh felt like he needed to invite him. Look I've not been invited to weddings that are done by people I think are my friends but I just say ok well I guess we aren't close and I move on. I don't write stuff online saying I'm cutting ties with them. Sometimes it's not about you. Sometimes it's about a list and the priority of that list like family and a few close friends.

Plus he was always getting girls. It was a good time in life for him where he had money, fame, and his music was popular. Plus with the stuff that’s come out about Drake too of course he would distance himself from him.
