Angelina loves her fans.
Quite amazing how AJ could spot people waving at her in the crowd then wave back. Not only that but at one point in the concert she noticed that some of us were wearing t shirts with her image on them. She leaned over and thanked us for doing so.
Super that you got to be there! I was also thinking how easy Angelina is with singing at the same time as really seeing her audience and interacting with a friendly wave and smile.
Yes not only that. The Blond lady below the pH being held up, is AJ's mother. The child she was holding with the hat, belongs to Angelina 's Guitarist from a few years ago. Who you will see in a lot of UA-cam recordings playing for AJ's songs.
You will see him too with a blue cap holding the same child. His child.
@@gtir300hp Got to chat to Sara - AJ's mum, before the concert. She was so nice, going round the crowd chatting to people. She said she was so surprised that the concerts were sold out and that people had come from all over the world to see AJ.

Woman in front carrying child with hat is Angelinas mother and child is Egil Claussen son. Egil Claussen was Angelinas first guitarist. Tall guy was from USA and blue shirt was from Italy. I met them at Kongsberg 3 days earlier. Good job Valerie!

@@glenmorris135 Angels is never offended by an angel. Kongsberg was best concert i have been at my whole life. I will remember this night for long. hope it will be possible to relive it in the future summers. An angel can dream....

Let Angelina inspire you! She was born with a microphone in her crib, and music and singing and performing is in her veins! Great example in spite of her age!
Lolol what a fun image of being born with a microphone in her crib, though I prefer babies stay with their moms until they themselves are secure to move into their own space… easier on the mom and baby for warmth, breastfeeding, and watching over the baby.

Yes, she does sometimes change a lyric here or there, but sometimes she does a total re-write. Back to Black, when she was 10, was a total re-write in 24 hours because her Mom wouldn't let her sing it unless she changed the lyrics. She totally changed it from a song about sex & drugs to a song about love. At 12 she totally re-wrote Amy's Rehab, about not wanting to go to rehab, to a song about not wanting to go to school that is very clever. I'm so happy you are inspired by Angelina & that you have a new manfriend. The "Angelina Effect" is very inspiring & for me, life changing.

Yes angelina loves her fans realy, she isnt mainstream at the time and she knows that all fans comes from any countrys to her concerts to norway, thats amazing...she is humble, lovel, grateful for all the angels. I agree that it's incredible she is able to smile, wave, pose and sing! At the same I do feel her performance got even better when she was even more into the song.
Angelina does indeed what she feels she needs and it is still appropriate with the original song. I think most artists don't mind it at all.
Wonderful how she inspired you to change lyrics and feel comfortable with it! She had done that to me as well and I do the same: I sing songs from female artists and I need to change it a little to make it a male narrative :-)
I need that honest feeling in artists as well to really connect to it as a listener. The artists I really love are able to show genuine emotion on stage.

I love love love every singel opportunity to get back and watch this consert, or even parts of it. 💖 So thank you again Valerie. This is another song Angelina has put to my conciousness. I`ve heard it before, but only vaguely remember so.
So great to hear of your inspirations from Angelina. I guess quite a few of us have experiensed great inspiration of some kind in our life, from our barefeet angel 😇 I have no doubt that`s in the core of what Angelina wants to bring for her audience. Love and joy for great music, and not at least even for life and for each other as humans.
I think that this summer she came home, and she met with some of her best friends from all over the world. And; - as she said, we could share the moment, and the great music we all love. And of course, from our side, we met with the most inspirational person of our life. And she gave it all in. Her love, her voice, her wonderous musicality. And she put it all together into her great great music. It was called a consert, but no doubt it was more like a gathering of friendliness and inspiration through music.
I agree that it is amazing how she can sing without any flaws while interacting with the audience at he same time. My wife attended two of her concerts and she was very interactive with the audience all the way throughout them. During and between the songs. It was amazing to witness. It’s so great to hear she has inspired your music also. My your new relationship be wonderful and lasting.
Love ur informative reactions, those of us lucky enough to be there loved Angie's interaction with her audience. I sensed she felt at home, not just because it was a familiar venue, but the reaction of the audience to songs she has performed many times. She may be a bit less playful with upcoming performances of new material, but she is such a pro and will fit whatever the occasion, perfectly, for sure

Bit of trivia, AJ's mother, Sarah, with blonde hair is holding a small child that belongs to Egil Clausen, he was AJ's original guitar player that appeared in many of the videos from Norway before she moved to LA.

Robert Carlson passed away Aug 21st of 22 (Robert is the very tall white-haired gentlemen standing to the right of Sarah, AJ's mother with blonde hair holding a child at the front.)
Alan, as we say goodbye to Robert, he got to enjoy two of the three concerts in Norway that Angelina Jordan put on, and if you have to go, what a way to go. We wish him a safe, and pleasant journey. I am sure he will be up there following AJ through eternity.

Valerie, I would suggest your next Angelina Norwegian concert reaction to be the super-high-quality coverage of both "7th Heaven" and "Million Miles" by NRK TV -- in one video. Their audio feed was plugged into the mixing board so it is superb and they covered it with multiple pro cameras. Also turn on the English subtitles because Angelina speaks some Norwegian during a pre-concert interview. This video is superb! 💯➕

I seem to remember a few short years ago you described it as "making it age appropriate" and I think you were right then and right now in that she "makes changes that let her feel happier about the song". 2 out of 2 isn't bad.

I never listened to Amy Winehouse, so I know none of the original lyrics. In another reaction video, two young ladies who love ‘Back To Black’ wanted to sing along to Angelina, but they found the lyrics unrecognizable, because it had changed so much. Angelina was only 10yo.
Your comment about AJ’s changing it up to work for her… reminded me of “Amadeus” when, upon being presented with a gift-piece from Salieri, at their first meeting, Mozart immediately used it as a base for his own composition. Very effectively, I thought.

It was such a sad day when Amy died. I had hopes that she would manage to recover from the addiction. At least her songs are testament of her existence in this world.

You can see Angelina's mother Sara Astar carrying a young boy, near the front left of the stage. The boy is the son of Angelina's long time guitarist Egel Clausen. I read that this was because Egal was carrying his daughter at the time, but I can't see Egal.
I have no problem with people "acting" to convey their feelings. After all, that is what actors do. Sounds like the person at the jazz festival you were referring to just wasn't a very good actor. Many of the feelings that Angelina gives in her performances come from things she has never experienced. But she is a Great actor---she finds a place in her life experience that resonates with the feelings of the lyrics, and she goes there. That's what good actors do. Then when she finishes, she returns to the present, and becomes the young, happy person who she is. An exception would be a song like "Million Miles", which she wrote about the loss of her grandfather. She related that when she was in the recording booth performing the song, tears were running down her cheeks. Now that's not acting. She was overwhelmed by what this song that she wrote meant to her, and all those feelings came pouring out. All I'm saying is, I don't think it's a bad thing to be a good actor. If someone can do that and make me "feel" the lyrics, then I'm fine with that. And I think Angelina is a Great actor. There are many examples of this, and one of the best is her performance of "A Million Years Ago" at 12 years of age: ua-cam.com/video/QHLtZQ3sIwE/v-deo.html Starts with a little smile, then closes her eyes and goes to that place that allows her to "feel" the very heavy message of the lyrics. Then right when she finishes she quickly becomes the happy little girl we love. That's Acting! and she's a pro.

I'm surprised you've never reacted to FORESTELLA, the best crossover vocal group ever. Individually exceptionally beautiful voices and vocal ranges (high and low pitches), together a musical delight in perfection. Technically highly qualified, they create most incredible sounds and harmonies in various genres and styles. A musical treat that you shouldn't miss anymore. For start, I recommend their version of "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The waving is akin to her ability to sing a beautiful performance, never missing a beat, while reading the lyrics off her iPad. I think her brain has many channels. The lyrics she usually changes are swearing, or ones about drugs or sex. Now, almost 17, it is changing a bit.
