Liebe Euer Kanal. Liebe Handarbeiten jeglicher Art und Eure Arbeit macht mich glücklich. Allein schon zu sehen, daß man etwas so wunderbares mit eigenen Händen erschaffen kann. Am meisten imponiert mir Eure Ruhe und Genauigkeit, wie alles erklärt wird. Seit ca. 40 Jahren lebe ich in Deutschland. Bin mit 14 Jahren aus Polen, zusammen mit meinen Eltern und meinem Bruder, nach Deutschland gekommen. In der polnischen Schule hatten wir russisch als erste Fremdsprache und ich wollte so gerne auch andere Sprachen lernen, was damals nicht so einfach für mich war. Every time I hear the Bach Prelude at the beginning I find myself thinking.....no way in the world will I ever play that prelude at that speed. I need to take a leaf out of your book and relax instead and just be happy I can play it at all.
Wat nice to meet Vivian Høxbro! I have the Dominostrikk book published in Noorwegen and have made some shawls in selfcouloring yarn. Very easy and quick way of knitting a nice shawl.

Learned about the self-sustainability and strength of the inhabitants of Fanoe, domino knitting, and beautiful garments being knitted by all. Andrew your smile fills me with warmth. As a retired nurse, I know your body wants to heal. It needs a tremendous amount of energy to do this. Your body is telling you to sleep so it can get on with the business of healing. I visualize you walking the paths in Snowdonia.

Andrea, your skill level is so amazing. I love both yours and Andrew's sweaters. Gorgeous colours! How I wish I could do work like that. I am watching this video on March 6/23. I am so sorry that Andrew did not make it. I'll stay away from trite cliches. I was widowed at 35 when my 28 year old husband was killed by a drunk driver. I just turned 69. I never remarried. I still miss John but I know where he is and I'll see him when this life is over.

Thankyou from my heart for making this fruity episode. I understand Andrew's fatigue..... I had a stroke last year and was warned about the tiredness that follows a brain injury. I think it's better just 'going with the flow' rather than fighting it and trying to stay awake. Sometimes I just 'work with the snoozy feelings'...... a nice warm bed, pj's and close the curtains. That way I give myself permission to snooze properly and wake up refreshed. Concentration is slowly returning and I pray it will for you Andrew. Maybe you will soon be able to do a bit more of your lace. You are Heaven blessed as I am with family who love you. Love from the heart is finer than any gold or any precious gems.the jewels in your crown are Madeline and Andrea AND the words of thanks for every day that you offer up in prayer. My simple prayer for you is , ' Heavenly Father, hold Andrew close to your most precious heart, Breathe strength into his body while he snoozes.

I purchased Vivians book domino knitting several years ago, I also made felted patterns of hers. Watching this I need to see if I still have it on my shelf. I just upgraded my patreon membership, and wrote you a note, but forgot to mention I'm a new viewer, and have been binge watching your episodes, starting with the first one. I've been completely blown over by the quality of your podcasts, and am so appreciative of not only the work you do, but the excellence of it all. Andrea, you're a gifted interviewer, and I think people enjoy answering your questions. Today I watched episode 69, with your visit to Moel Siabod, and immediately went to order the Kindle edition of William Horwood's series. The hardcover first book in the series is selling for $855.00. Wow! I also tried to buy the book on the ergonomics of knitting and its price was through the roof also.
I'm loving all the European scenery you share. As a U.S. citizen, I'll probably never get to those places, and I so appreciate your sharing them. We've been to all the mountainous spots in the U.S.; it's our favorite type of place to visit. And lastly, love your musical choices, especially the celtic ones and Andrea's singing. Classical music was always a part of my life growing up, and I so appreciate it. Thank you.

so funny to hear Vivian describe the elementary level, single yarn knit cast -on we were taught as kids
as some 'high' level esoteric knowledge chuckle - but its so easy to expand from I can see why its key to the technique, and erases all shame from those of us who struggle with more advanced and robust continental 2 yarn, 3 needle etc techniques ha ha
