I am trying something new, proper car reviews. I have teamed up with Ontaerial to bring you the best visuals in the industry. Our reviews are from an enthusiast perspective (Jakub), as well as someone who really doesn't know much about cars but likes them (Yuri). You won't find details about compression ratios here, instead you'll have real world opinions on what it's like to drive and own these cars. MOTOR RIOT!
We review Jakub's 2008 Lexus ISF in this episode. - Авто та транспорт
I want one purely for the fact that nobody will look twice at it. Oh and it goes fast. And never breaks.
+Taylor Rhodes exactly why I love mine
Taylor Rhodes oh I will look twice. I notice the diffrence
Prometheus same bro, as a car enthusiast that never sees these, I’ll stare till it’s out of my sight
Methamphetameme isf is RWD
I want one but no way I’m paying 40k for 120,000 miles
This is my current daily. My first Lexus. I’ve never fell deeper in love with a car.
It's the best
What year? Any issues I'm in the market for one would like to know how the 2008 and 2009 hold up being 10 years old now! Those are really the only years you can really find 2011-2014 are hard to find and way more expensive!
Gabe Alt I have an 08. Got it oct 18. It’s intoxicating. 61,xxx miles. No issues for me so far, it’s Toyota reliability. I was in the market for an m3, 13+s4, rs4, even considered newer mustangs, srt8s, etc. Couldn’t be happier. I just smile as i drive pass these cars because without a doubt I made the best choice. The only “bad” thing is aftermarket parts get expensive. Other than that, 10/10
I literally go for drives on lunch breaks and every chance I get... LOVE my '12. @Openmindimagery on IG for more :)
@@TheStraightPipes Just bought a 2011 :) in Ultrasonic Blue.
Almost as many f's I got in high school
Nice
Chownzi I heard them say 9 fs as I read this
🤣😂😅🤑🤔👌🏻👍🏻🍾🥂
😂🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 me too bro we deserve Lexus f sports sedans
i love that your channel exists
"You won't find details about compression ratios here, instead you'll have real world opinions on what it's like to drive and own these cars."
i applaud this, we too often focus on specs and not IRL experience
+Ganaria Gente awesome thanks!
Horsepower and torque!
I had this car for 4 years, - amazing car 0 issues bought it in 2008 - sadly my family out grew this. It’s one of the most underrated car out there. So much fun to drive and bullet proof in terms of reliability.
Who came to this after the gsf review 😂
😂🤚🏻
Me 😂
GSF weighs like 300lbs more than this
ME! Hahahahahaaa
Who else is watching this after they hit 1 million? Quarantine is getting me.
Me. I'm bored and my dad just got me the v6 250 and I'm intrigued by the V8 monster for years to come
That, and i own an ISF and like watching other ISF Content lol

@@TheMELTDOWN911 its my birthday today!
@@LunatrixEX Congrats!!!
man oh man, this beautiful beast never gone get ugly...
+GSHeverything _27 I agree
These cars look s so brand new, anyways great fun review
+GSHeverything _27 Yeah its the only car I've owned that I'd love to keep forever. Thanks
TheStraightPipes enjoy it and take your bby lol
I want this lexus soooo...... freaking bad...
+MannyPR I did too, so I finally bought it. If you have the means to buy it, definitely get the F. My only regret is not buying it sooner. I absolutely love it
TheStraightPipes I have the choice to get a newer is350 fsport or isf with around 40-70k miles they're around the same price but can't decide. I really want the V8 but it's hard to find an isf with lower miles and in good condition
+Prodigious 909 get the isf. Just keep looking, expand your search area and be patient. It's such a better car overall. I've had both!
I have one ride is rough if you live in the city but other than that its a dream
+Rob Styles they're really not that rough. What type of cars have you had before?
I've been on the fence about getting a Lexus ISF, this review has me shopping for one now.
Thank you for the consistent great content! I've enjoyed all videos I've seen from this channel so far.
+Andrew Nguyen awesome thanks. Definitely get an ISF. I still love mine
@@TheStraightPipes how about today?
Love it! The cinematography is excellent and the differing perspectives concept is a refreshing take on car reviews! Keep up the excellent videos!
+ALBON awesome thanks
motor riot!? so glad you guys stayed with the straight pipes name, MUCH better! love seeing where you guys came from. love the channel even though im not a motor head just cause you guys are so much fun.
who’s here after lexus just teased us with the return of the ISF? 👀
Me i am
Do you guys think the value of these will drop after the IS500?
@@Gr1dlock0an I hope so and I can't wait for the is500 to come out in the uae in 2022
Great video and I love my Lexus ISF as well. Also love taking it to the drag strip and road courses. I've had so many people come up to me wondering how the heck they just got beat up by a Lexus! Haha, such a sleeper car.
Love watchin your race videos👊🏻
Ive got a 2010. Tuned, exhaust, intake, coilovers. In love and never getting rid of it. By far my favourite car Ive ever owned.
Hows the reliability? What kind of miles do you have on yours?
Love TheStraightPipes. Never seen this before. You guys have come along way. Keep it up!
You guys have gotten so much better. Dialogue, content, sound and videography. Carry on!!!
I'm up to 212,000 miles in my stock 2008 IS-F and it's still a monster.
wanna sell it?
How hard was it driven
U change the transmission fluid?
@@Regnier77 yes at 120K. i'm about to change it again.
Toyota reliability
This video convinced me to pull the trigger on a 2012 IS F, and I couldn't be more happy with my decision.
Reliable ?
how much?
@@Thabed100 Toyota
this guys should have 1mill subs
+GarV send us more subs
TheStraightPipes will try my best yuri..
+GarV this is Jakub right now. Thanks for trying
GarV at least
TheStraightPipes almost there boys :)
How much things have changed since 2016! Great channel!
Daaaaamn, you're really stepping your game up even higher. Loved this, especially the flawless voice command system. :)
+TorrentialTech thanks very much! We're definitely trying to step it up
Binge watching all of your videos! Been a subscriber way back when you guys have 30k subs. Now its time to view all of your old videos when i can't get enough of your new ones! Haha
I sold this car this past summer. I miss it :(
TheStraightPipes what is your next car? What year was yours? Is it worth getting an older than 2011?
Guys, seriously. I cannot stop watching your videos. Absolutely awesome content here. BTW, Jakub congrats on your taste on cars. I am glad to see you as a Lexus guy. If you see this. What kind of IS 350 did you have before? Which generation was it? Was it with AWD or RWD. Thanks.
Thanks man! I had an 06 IS350 lowered on F sport springs with 19" RPF1's and F Sport intake / exhaust. It was rwd and a great car overall. Look through the channel, there's an old exhaust video on it :)
Great video guys. Thanks for doing this. I've got the 2006 Lexus GS430 with the V8, not quite as fast off the line, but so fun.
dudes - still such a great car all these years later. Classy and that raw v8 power
Nice car for any guy not just a Lexus guy 👍The isF is a very respectable car and I just got one I'm very very happy with it
+Christopher Sangster exactly. Don't worry yuri doesn't know anything
TheStraightPipes lol I know I didn't mean it in a bad way 😂sweet isF though man sounds and looks beastly
+Christopher Sangster don't worry! Thanks, ISF is best. Watch the new video where I straight piped it
"Horsepower."
I like that answer. Lots of conviction.
Great shots, editing guys. Keep it up.
+ejfgjbcbsajk thanks!
Holy carp! The guys on this show look and sound just like Jakob and Yuri!
Already stoked on the channel but now EXTRA stoked that one if you owns an ISF! I test drove an 11’ ISF and 10’ M3 and went ISF, never looked back. Keep up the good work!
Haha right on. Will have an update on it soon
Sweet! Looking forward to it!
I've had a 2015 Lexus RC-F for about 2 years. I enjoyed it, but I think I'd prefer this sedan variant more, eventhough it's less hp. The "sleeper" status of this IS-F is killer! Now that their older, the prices are nicer as well. Reliable as all get out, and fun to drive daily!
It's the best. I'm going to miss it forever when I sell it
Maybe Lexus will bring back the IS-F. I'm kinda between the IS-F and a second generation CTS-V. Prior to my RC-F I came from a 2008 Corvette (LS3) with a s/c, cam, full exhaust etc.. it was a monster; and I regret selling still to this day. 650 hp and daily driver friendly, broke a lot of hearts from higher end exotics, and of course Mustangs haha.
The IS-F is a prime example of a gentleman's muscle car, or wolf in sheep's clothing per-se. I hope you can hold on to yours for as long as possible! All the best!
@@RandallJT84 if your thinking about getting the cts V go for the CTS V Wagon
@@DiaperSNiFFER I prefer the CTS-V Sedan to the Wagon variant. This may seem rather odd, or particular; yet that's okay by me. The Wagon is rare, and definitely holds value over either the Coupe or Sedan models.
I may seem like a rare specimen here with my ideals towards V models; but I like to think the V line of Cadillacs as a whole is a remarkably fun, and beloved genre. Thanks for your input bro!
Well u can’t even get one now for 40k
Just started shopping these because they sound and look GREAT and are plenty fast even if they won't beat out an M3. You guys have come SO FAR since this video! I can't believe I am watching the same two guys! LOL
They are not really slower than an m3 either tho. Just C63 is faster
Just a heads up for Yuri:
2003 Lexus IS300:
Straight six. Rear wheel drive.
Five speed manual. Dashboard designed to look like a watch.
It's the perfect Yuri car!
Yayyy Straight Pipes finally found a LEXUS IS series review. Been watching you guys for years. Anyways got my 2017 LEXUS IS200 FSPORT recently. Keep up the good work, who's watching this video in 2020? LOL
Crazy how you evolved from this to 2020... Pure quality
Crazy pulls!! You guys are great
after knowing TSP since the last year or so, its refreshing watching an old episode like this!
Ive got a 2008 ISF with a Hayward and Scott catback, awesome cars and the exhaust really makes the V8 come alive, Great review.
+NEVERL8 INAV8 thanks. I've straight piped mine since this video. I'd love to hear the H&S in person
Could be tricky it's in the UK lol but I've got a few vids on my channel your welcome to check out
+NEVERL8 INAV8 haha right on
still one of my favourite videos from the straight pipes
I can't believe you got rid of this beautiful beast
I'm about to buy a 2011 80,000 miles on ODO ! Drove one today actually ! One word ! Amazing !🙌🌞
Got my life turned around and bought myself a 2008 ISF about 3 months ago. Love the car and no regrets at all
I’m thinking about getting one is 48,585 miles still good to buy ? In terms of reliability
@@justindagoat9900they last up to 150-200k miles with no issues as long as you do your regular maintenance…but yeah 50k is nothing
I’m on this same mission. I’m hoping to buy one by next summer or fall.
@@justindagoat9900hell yes, go for it. I wish I could find one that is 50k miles or less.
Mine had 140,000 km’s on it and it still runs great. Haven’t had any issues with it. My advice…. Do it
I see potential in these kids they will have millions of subscribers in future!!
Wow this is like my dream car in 2019 tho I want other recent cars but you see this one..I would love to have it in my garrage..and also this was the last car I expected you to review..I love you guys more for this..keep it up..you guys rock
I sold it. I have my GS430 now. Loved my isf
@@TheStraightPipes yeah I love the isf more tho..waiting on your 2020gle video ..you guys rock
you guys are dope. good job on the lexus isf video.
+Jerry Griffin thanks a lot! Love my F ;)
“As a non-Lexus guy, I would never get this but as a Lexus guy this is a dream car”. Couldn’t agree more.
I'm liking the music. Don't notice it too much in newer videos.
I have a Toyota Sequoia with the 4.7 v8 I’m in love with it because the safety and reliability.
But car is for hauling my family around, now I’m getting me this one to just haul me around in style!!!
Soon will get mine, can’t wait anymore.
This car still looks way sick. And the stealth color scheme is amazing!
I am looking at one now. 2008, 65k for $28K. Not only are they fast and reliable, they seem to hold their value too.
You guys are savs for making this. ISF is one of my dream cars, but man I thought you were gonna drift a little.
+T. Baggins415 everything has to be legal since we will be on TV. Don't worry, it's my F and I'll take it on the track in 2017 and get sideways ;). It's my dream car too that's why I bought it
Here in Chicago any IS-F you find with 100k miles still goes for 29k. Crazy but I still want one 😂
beautiful spec! I hope I find one myself on day!
Just sold my 350 not too long ago and own a Corolla now 💀 but soon an is-f will be mine 🤝
Awesome awesome awesome. The car is great. But, you guys makes me want it even more. Good production.
Thanks
I just bought an Is F 2008 it’s really nice
Fellow ISF owner, I love the secondary intake growl!
I just sold it last week 😭
TheStraightPipes Wow, why'd you sell?! I've had mine for 8 months, love it so far.
I review cars for a living. I get to drive 700hp cars regularly and have no time to drive my own car
Dam still a good looking car in 2022
Jakub, thanks for the review! do you drive the car in winter? Looking to get one of the three Lexus Fs but them being RWD I’m curious how they drive because I live in GTA as well. Cheers!
That intake noise just awesome
*DREAM LEXUS*
1) LFA in Lapis Lazuli Blue
2) LC500 Inspiration Edition
3) 2014 ISF
4) SC 300 6MT (2JZ)
5) RCF Track Edition
Red= fast but brakes are for slowing down
Red means stop lol thats why i want red brakes
This video is what made me subscribe to you guys 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This is a Future classic
How far they have come from this to one million!
4:24-4:26 love his reaction. Makes my day
this car has always been on my secret wish list. also, nice shorts. also, fanny pack much?!
also, i rode along in my friend's ISF at laguna seca once. it was scary. i hate sitting in the passenger seat.
Hey Jacob, can't decide between a 2015-2017 used gsf or rcf. Spacious 4 seats aren't that big a deal as I have 2 other cars. Just wanted to know which one handles and brakes better and has a better interior? Thanks!
How does the F's paddle shifting compare today to similar shifting cars in 2016? Awesome video!
+Jonathan Wong it's still faster than any true automatic. It's slower than DSG but those require servicing like a manual transmission
funny review. i like it. I just got a Lexus ISF and I love it!
+BreakerOhio awesome thanks. Enjoy the shit out of it! I still love mine everyday. Make sure you do the exhaust though. Check out my full exhaust video to hear what it sounds like now
BreakerOhio did you go from an s2000??
MrMillwood500 i still have my S2000
TheStraightPipes I watch this review over again often :) its great. do ever drive it in snow mode?
+BreakerOhio haha that's great, thank you. No I'm in sport mode 90% of the time. I don't like the throttle response in regular and brutal in snow mode. In the winter I drive it in regular mode with good winter tires and its completely fine
i love this car front grill, better than recent models
This is my dream car. There's only ever about 10 for sale in U.K. second hand.
My IS220D will have to do for now.
+Ivan Drago thanks it was mine too. They're rare here too that's why I love it
Love your reviews on this and the Mustang convertible. What do you think of the Infiniti Red Sport 400? Maybe not quite the quality of the Lexus, but still quite a kick with an AWD option.
+Craig Grider haven't driven one, would love to
Thanks for the great review of a very affordable car that most people can go and buy.
LOOOOL voice commands at end of vid - toooooooo funny!
I have a 350 and love it, i wonder how this car feels. 350 is more than enough to smoke most people in my city, but I'm sold on the V8 and will get one next summer.
Now we have the GS-F and the RC-F(which I really want)!!!!!
These cars are such a great buy on the used market. A relatively low mileage 09-10 IS-F can be had for $32-35k. It's an awesome alternative to the E92 M3 because it is way cheaper to own/maintain. That is a lot of car for the money and it's hard to beat Lexus reliability.
Yeah and I just sold mine 😭
@@TheStraightPipes Why made you decide to sell it?
TheStraightPipes why?
100k miles isf is around 23k for that price I rather buy a 2017 q50 with 30k miles and with 600 dollars tune will destroy the lexus.....
@@b58forever $600 tune destroys ISF! 😮😮
How much HP gains on that tune?
Is the handling between the Isf and Is350 the same? Or did they change something with the suspension? I have an is350 and I love it
Doing a 2020 revisit on the 2nd vid (I missed this one first time around by a few) most of these early videos are a let-down and embarrassing for the creators but I have to say, I enjoyed this one just as much as I enjoyed the recent Vent-A-Door video. It was always meant to be.
you guys got so much better as you made more videos
I know that Lexus guy feeling haha! I had a is300h, miss it now I went to Volvo...and now working towards getting an IS F
The times i do see this car in public, it is usually stock, aside from some modest wheels and modest lowering. The owners know their shit.
Yup
got an '08 with 133,000 miles still going strong and looks mint condition
+Dino Aungpe damn that's awesome to hear!
How much you paid for it?
@JC AS 🤦♂️ lol sorry for such a delayed response$42000 in 2011 it had 19k miles
Love the ISF!!
Can't believe it is 10 years old now!
Nice car definitely my dream car!!
this will be my next car.
+stormrider777 DO IT! I love mine
I have 04 is300 right now. I feel its time to upgrade to a V8 for the first time in my life.
+stormrider777 you will not regret it at all. It's the best thing ever. Make sure you get an exhaust on it ASAP though as it's too quiet stock. Other than that, perfect
Same to me bro!
stormrider777 get it yet?
Fun view. I love my 2009.
Very nice car for sure!! Although, I believe your wheels are on backwards. The 08/09 ISFs had 4 unique wheels for each of the corners and the thicker part of the spokes are supposed to be on the trailing edge.....for what it's worth. One of my friends in our F group had the same mixup on his fronts.
+shamasiv you are correct. I bought the car like this and it's not worth removing the tires to flip them around since the tires are directional. I'll switch them when I get new tires
Do you plan to do an exhaust? My friend ended up doing a muffler/ Res delete and then took the secondary cats out and it sounds amazing!
Did a muffler delete. Video is on the channel
You guys need to do another video on Jacob’s Lexus isF again 😏
I need advice. I'm a Lexus guy, and love v6's with a passion. Haven't been in an ISF, but I know that I would only want this generation. I love driving hard. Should I get an is with the v6 or the v8? Not a v8 guy but the way this car moves and the sound it makes, I'm afraid I'll fall in love
Get the V8 isf
Jakub: “Is F, we really need to win this pull”
Is F: “affirmative, 9 Fs given”
I will buy one straight cash real soon
+Mike Helps do it :)
How much do these Lexus’ cost in the US? Price range?
Carlos Chavez If over 100k miles, $23k to $28k. If under 50k miles, $35k to $40k.
I sold my Black 08 w/112k miles for $21k
Damn bro you got 20k
I wished they would of continued with ISF... but with a Toyota twin turbo engine
The GSF is basically the same car
iS 500
@straightpipes Jakub mentioned having an is350, as much as I’d like an is-f the is350 is more in my price range. I know the is-f is better, but would you recommend getting an is350.
Yes
Awesome as always! Whats the name of the song?
+-TwinTurbo250 Productions- it's a song that we purchased the license. I forget what it's called
Lowkey want one now. I’d trade my is200t in a heart beat!
