Here, finally, is my next video in the Colour Your Quilt series. I have spent so long on this video and have watched it so many times, I no longer know if it makes sense. Please, if you have any questions, post them down below. Thanks for watching.
Thank you, thank you. For your perseverance and generosity. I’m trying to absorb this and I too will watch these videos many times, this is exactly what I’ve been trying to understand when I look at other people ‘ work. Looking forward to the next piece.
So you make this video 5 years ago and I'm watching because I've had an interest in learning to better color my quilts and at the end you are laugh crying and just yesterday that was me in my car laugh crying, with my kids in the back asking Mommy are you happy or sad? Who knew that was the part of your video I needed most today ❤😆 Thank you for this series though, I'm learning so much!
Karen, I am not a quilter, I make tote bags. I watch your videos because I like your personality. You are real and authentic. I’m a retired speech therapist and you have a wonderful voice; great pitch, tone and volume. Your voice is soothing and soft and not so “in your face” like many UA-cam videos. I’m also learning so much about color and sewing. Thanks for doing this. You don’t have to be perfect.
You are such a real person, not to worry about a perfect video.Viewers are more understanding than you think. Just breathe, we aren’t going anywhere ❤️
Just Get it Done Quilts I loved your honesty and I'm sure not going anywhere! This video, and your previous ones are perfect for my learning library, thank you!
It's not so much that I have trouble choosing colors but I have trouble not choosing them -- I want to use every color. I never met a color I didn't like. And cut yourself some slack -- we love your videos. Don't we keep coming back for more? Yes, we do. Just look at all those thumbs up.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who tries (and accomplishes) to laugh thru the tears... God bless you and may you always find peace in knowing He's there just when you need Him most. Most of my tears are happy tears. I get weepy when I feel like God's working in my life. Hard to explain. Hang in. The thread is much stronger than we think! (Referring to the saying: ' I'm hanging by a thread'). Hope I get to meet you one day! (and hope I don't cry) Blessings, L :)
Karen, you made me feel so happy today. I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time now. But, when you go to sleep tonight , know you made my life better today. Take care. 💕☀️
You have made a.very clear video on color, all parts, that easy to understand. Its ok to destress when necessary, it all part of self-care, just remember that. No one is perfect, we strive for completion. Thank you so much for taking your time to explain color.
Karen, I love all of your videos. I’ve been sewing for over 50 years and am still learning. It’s great to know that I have colors that are just for me; who knew? Found out my colors are in the turquoise range; it was totally awesome to actually internalize this fact. Also, the Dollar Store videos were very informative...great tips there. (FYI...most doctors don’t tell you when you have your gallbladder removed that the enzymes needed to digest the fats that you eat are gone, which may necessitate food enzymes. Some people don’t have digestion issues after this surgery but, if you do, check out digestive enzymes, especially Ox Bile for meats and fats and lipase, protease, anything ending with ase, are great for digestion of carbohydrates.). Keep the videos coming....we love them, and you. Be Blessed.
Haha I was just thinking this is one of the best made videos. No long drawn out intro. Concise information. And the light isn’t flashing off your glasses. love it!
I actually find it very encouraging to know I have a color zone that’s unique to me and my tastes, and that it’s okay!! I always wondered why I’d look at precut sets and dislike half the ones included. I think it’s neat how each persons mind is drawn to different things. It helps us make our quilts as unique as we are. 😊 I hope your spirits are lifted, soon. I love seeing your videos. You’re so encouraging to others.
I’m sorry about the loss of your friend. And I hope you’re healing with a great deal of ease. Karen, you’re truly awesome. I love your videos. Thank You for how clearly you teach. And THANKS ever so much for this color series. It is exactly what I’ve needed.
I am a beginner. In fact I don’t even have a sewing machine! I’ve watched lots of videos trying to find someone who explains things in a way I can understand. You are the best!
I'm just glad you're back. Sorry for your loss. Life happens. I'm just finishing my Christmas quilts as I broke my shoulder at the beginning of Dec. Lol. But life goes on...people are very understanding. We live you. And thanks for all the color videos.
So sorry to hear about your last few weeks, but glad to see you making videos again :) Don't be so tough on yourself. As women we don't allow ourselves enough grace to not be perfect all the time. Love your videos!
Thank you for this "real" sharing that happens to all of us. You pick up and go on. Also allows us to know when you have passions in your life; it gets you through.....these bridges help us over and God knows we need all the bridges we can get,
Great video you are fine i understand a lot more than before. Believe me we understand.. Life happens!! It was lovely to have your see ya after a couple bad days. 3 days ago I had breast biopsy. 2 nights ago I was in the hospital for migraine. Yesterday I found out I need to have further breast surgery. TY! Wuvs ya tons!!! ❤xo💜xo💙xo💛xo💖xo💚
Thank you for the color theory video. I have taken or watched other color theory classes but it didn't relate to quilting for me. I have been absorbing your concepts much better. Sorry for all the recent troubles. We are thinking of you out here even if we can't be there to hug you. Don't let technology get you down. I give myself permission to to scream or cry or laugh hysterically when needed. It does help. I haven't been committed by people in white coats yet. Take care of yourself and don't feel you need to do more than is best for you. We appreciate you.
You are one of my very favorite people to listen about quilt making. I'm a newbie, but you get into the theory of how to do things, such as these videos on colors. AND you're real. REAL is good. I'm sorry you had a rough month, but glad you are back. Thank you so very much for sharing.
Your last part about your brain liking your personal color zone is SO TRUE. I’m working on two quilts for my toddlers right now and of course being happy bright little kids they LOVE bright happy patterns/colors. And let me tell you, I have never had more headaches while working on a project more! The colors within the individual quilts coordinate but it is like nails on chalkboard for my eyes/brain to deal with. I do not enjoy very bright, high contrast colors in front of my face for hours on end. After I’m done with these I’m going to work on something with a more neutral/low contrast palette to give my brain/eyes a rest 😂
I am a total beginner, learning to quilt , use my new machine, stock my sewing room. I found your 3 color videos helped so much. I am that person who can never choose a color! I like so Many of them, it makes making choices difficult. I am boing to watch all three again. Thanks for making them!
Hey sister. Sending you big, big love. This series of tutorials has been absolutely perfect for me. They are well thought out, perfectly concise and you get the point across very effectively. Thank you for your great videos, and thank *you* for being you. I am so sorry for you that you are having a tough time right now. Keep on keeping on. If it helps, I found you channel at a time when I am recovering from a very bumpy ride. I appreciate your efforts and thanks again. Here is to more calm times ahead xx
I'm coming in waaayyy behind the times, but I am sending you warm hugs. You are such a beautiful lady inside and out. I hope you know how much you help others with you videos - bless you for sharing!
Loving this series of vids on colours. As an experienced quilter, who lost her "SewJo" for many years, I want to create finished quilts, not a closet full of UFO's. Colour and design are everything for me. I mostly only buy what I love, and in small amounts for scrap quilts, but then get suck how to create a beautiful project.
I hear your concern that this isn't your best video, but honestly I really love how you back off a little from the elaborate theory and acknowledge that we all have our obsessive color biases. While it's interesting to learn about ways to use the color wheel to pick out color combinations, at the end of the day, this is where most of us are at. There are millions of color combo preferences, and each one is the best for the individual who has it. And nobody has it all figured out. I've taught art and worked retail in craft shops, and my head spins when a student or customer puts together a color combination that would never occur to me, but it is totally stunning. There are no absolutes in color theory.
Hiya, thank you so much for these videos, they are soooo helpful for someone like me who really has no idea about colour theory, I just know what I like and what I don't. I have learnt a huge amount from watching them all once through and I will be watching them again (and possibly again and again after that!). You are so generous to open your knowledge to us via UA-cam with no charge, I m very grateful, thank you.
Oh MY! These. videos were a lightbulb moment for me. I've watched many color wheel explanations, but yours brought so much practical info. Bringing out all the fabric samples made your teaching connect in my brain. I cannot thank you enough; you're an excellent teacher. I'll be watching these videos again and again.
As a man that started quilting 4 years ago when I retired I have watched many hours of UA-cam videos to teach me what to do. I love your style and fun, natural way of presenting. Coming from England I also find your accent fascinating. The series on colour has been exactly what I need as it’s been the thing I’ve had most difficulty with. The only problem now is, I think I need to redecorate the whole house as I’ve got the colours wrong!!!😀
I was just about to comment here that the vlog was GOLD, absolute gold. You nailed it. Then, up you pop in the car saying this is your worst video ever. I've got tears in my eyes but they're from laughing! Thanks Karen. You're helping a new quilter so much.
I love your videos. I can’t imagine how hard it is. I send clips of things to friends and find how often things are misunderstood on a silly cat clip. I watch yours and enjoy them so much. I now face a new problem. I’m in the hospitals after a rough fall and have no use of my left arm. That is not stopping me. THE STASH MUST BE USED. Your video on getting the help you need has also push me to get help. Please know your help goes so far beyond quilting.
You are very encouraging to me! I’ve been quilting since 1987! Please let me encourage you. Your videos are very informative and filmed well. Your subject matter is spot on! I feel that you are true to yourself and your love for quilting is sincere. Keep up the good work!
Karen I don’t know how I missed these in your channel but they are genius. I have been struggling with colour and quite honestly after 11 quilts I still find a pattern based on the picture and copy the colour choice of the designer. You have made my day with information and handouts. I have finished my last 3 UFO thanks to you and now on to something totally knew and I will choose the colours. I can’t thank you enough.
These tutorials have been so helpful!! Thanks heaps. I love how you are so creative, but from a more logical, scientific approach!! that's me to a "T"!!
Sorry for your stress lately but you are showing all of us that "stuff happens" and we keep moving forward. I love your videos and how much I learn. I'm not confident in choosing colors so I often buy kits. I will watch all of your videos about color again to keep them in my brain! I have a quilt kit I bought that I don't even like the colors of but now I'm going to work on changing the fabrics. Thanks again for being real and maybe we'll meet at a quilt festival some day!
PLEASE never fret about hair, puffy eyes, etc. We all are appreciative of whatever you make and you always look so put together, even walking the dog. And I think this video was quite useful, so it is perfect. I only wish this color stuff was genetic and I didn’t need to learn it. It’s hard. But I adore color well done. It just makes me happy. I very much look forward to your next installment. //. I trust you are on the mend from your multiple woes referenced in video.
You're a brilliant teacher! I'm guilty of thinking I knew all there was to know about colour, but thankfully you taught me more and it's always fun learning from you. Thank you. Thumb's up on video skills too.
Karen, you are helping me understand colour like I’ve never been able to. No art class, artist, photographer or book has had anywhere near as much impact on my learning as you have. I just never “got it.” I’m a beginner sewer and learning from your videos have built up confidence enough in me to start such a daunting hobby. I’m a long-thinker and a slow mover. You’re helping me make my daydreams come true! Your videos are very concise and clear. You’ve often said how challenging it is for you to make videos for your channel, but Woman, you’ve got the quality we viewers need to receive what you’re giving us!Thank you! And everyone that assists you! You are so very genuine with your personal stories. Thank you for sharing them. Hearing how your emotions and quilting play around each other and mesh together explores another dimension that moves from instruction to relatable, and it’s so valuable to me. You are so wonderful and talented and generous with yourself. All my love to you, Sister! Always sending good vibes your way! - Jen from Winnipeg
Oh, my, I thought this was very informative... even when we think we're off our mark, sometimes we're spot on! Watching this again, eleven months after my first viewing. The assertion you make at the beginning of this instructional video, oddly, I have walked around w/it my head for almost a year. And, it's true. As I've grown as a quilter, from *wee* beginner to what seasoned quilters appraise, as intermediate (I call myself "beginner intermediate!), I have found your prediction to be accurate. My color selections have changed and expanded. I still love my original palette selection, but 'boy! My choices in fabric (color) selection have changed in eleven months! P.S.: I love this video--and, I'm sorry for your loss. Hope... the following: For each cloud, there's a rainbow, For each shadow, the sun, And for each parting, memories When sorrow is done. (The above is from a card sent to me when my father passed 37 year ago. Sorrow/grief never completely evaporate, but they do lesson--and, are replaced by memories of good times--as I'm sure you know.)
THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING PERFECT!! Showing us that imperfection gives us encouragement to keep going when we think we just can't anymore. We've all been there to some degree, some more than others.. Thank you for staying the course even though it's been difficult. Thank you for all the videos! I've been quilting for 20 yrs and I'm still learning things that I know will help me be better.
I really believed as a quilter I needed to challenge myself to use colours outside my comfort zone. You have shown me that to enjoy my journey use the pallet of my personal colour zone. Thankyou
@@JustGetitDoneQuilts Sometimes my mom sends me photos of quilts with 'my colors', but she forgets, that my color choices have evolved and expanded. Your video was a good demo of that!
As with all your videos, you are a joy to listen to and learn from. You are far too hard on yourself! Don't worry about making us viewers happy -- you do that just by being YOU! I have been quilting for some time and sewing (in general) for years and I learn something from each and every video. Keep up the good work; I'm praying for your good health. Thanks for taking the time to educate us.
Thank you. I hope with this new understanding that you reread them. I have many that I read over and over again, seeing things differently and getting ideas to push my colour zone a bit.
These Color Theory videos are the BEST videos/education ... I've read and watched others and your explanations and movies skills ROCK! Thank you very much!
My favourite colour is a dark bottle green, however when I first started quilting I shocked myself, all the fabrics I bought for the first year or so seemed to be pastle pinks, duckeggs and sage greens, who knew. Karen I love your videos, I think youcome across as such a warm loving person, I'm glad you are real. And the emotion you show in your video is just authentic, it does not make your video bad, I think most of us can really relate to what your going through. X
Carmen is very right. I have learned so much from your videos. I’m sorry for your loss and the events of this past 6 weeks. You really have done a wonderful job and truly never noticed your eyes being red or the length of your hair. Your videos are so knowledgeable and interesting. Thank you for them.
I agree with everyone who has commented. You are doing a great job! Love the tutorial. When we get together in our guild for a quilt day, sometimes someone is stuck on choosing a colour . I find it very interesting how there can be such diverse ideas. It is one of the best things about having a quilting family to fall back on. Thank you for you hard work in putting these videos together. ❤️
Please don't feel you need to apologize for YT taking a stem back for real life! You're content is awesome and incredibly useful and relevant for us quilters who want to KNOW what's going on with fabrics/colors etc. I'm not one of the lucky ones who have good color sense. Your videos are helping me accumulate the knowledge I need to make better choices, and understanding why I'm underwhelmed with past fabric choices. You can't always find direct answers online. So, a huge Thank You! And a long distance hug to help you feel better!
Hi, wow what a great explanation on color theory, I don’t think anyone has explain this to me that I can finally understand , just watch all the series and I loved it, you have a great way on explaining things that people can really understand and you are funny and very down to earth, love that. So sorry about all is happening on your life and for your lost, but please don’t be so hard on your self, who said that life is easy and that everything lines up as we plan, you are very brave on having this channel and making our quilting lives more easily by taking the time and explaining to all of us self thought quilters looking for answers and inspiration on how, where and what. Thanks for the videos I just found you and I will be watching all your past and new videos, can’t wait. Thanks again
A few things 1. FINALLY someone addresses the 3d color system!!!! I cried with joy! 2. Speaking of crying...your vulnerability is why i subscribe. You are so real. Its needed during these times. You are my friend.
Karen i love ALL.YOUR VIDEOS. Learnt so much. I like HIGH VALUE TINTS...like the sets you showed on video. Teals mustards and lower contrast. See I didn't know all these things til.i watched you...😊😊😊😊😉😉😉😉😉😉
Don't worry about this video, your explanations were very clear and understandable and life does throw us curve balls. I've been a sewer for years but just a very raw beginner when it comes to quilting so for me a separate video about how to apply this info is great. Take care of yourself.
I almost cried with you ! You have such a beatiful, honest and down to earth way about your videos that makes them incredibly refreshing and easy to watch. Thank you for sharing so devotedly!
This video was great! I love all you Colour Quilt videos, I am learning so much, new word terms, how to combine different colors that I would never consider using together. I really appreciate all the time and energy you put into each video you create. And I even got two of my favorite quilt patterns from the links you provided in Colour Theory 2, offered to me for FREE! I really thank you for all the helpful links that you put at the bottom of each of your videos, it makes it easy for me to skim for the next video I want to watch from your channel.
Want you to know you are very, very good at what you are doing... Whatever I need always look at Just get it done by my mate Karen Brown so Thankyou for your excellent help you are appreciated more than you realise dear Karen Brown .... 💜🦋🌸
Oh you are such a lovely person. you need to worry about yourself before worrying about us. I am sure we can cope with waiting for you to get healthy. Thankyou so much for the time you put in for all us followers. If i ever get to Ontario I will definetly look you up.
I thoroughly enjoy this series on colors. It's been a stumbling block for me and you explain it so well! You are doing a great job and I can't wait to see more from you. Hang in there and take the time you need to heal physically and emotionally. We will wait for you! Hugs.
This series on color is just fantastic! I have a lot of color confidence, I know what I like, picking the colors and fabrics for my quilts is the most fun part, and most of the time I have no problem pulling it together pretty quickly. It's just from my gut. I have some knowledge of the science behind it but these videos explain so much what I do intuitively. I now understand why I love gray so much, lol. I've learned so much from these videos in an area where I didn't think I needed to learn much and I've really enjoyed it.
I have always had color confidence too, and i still am puzzled by people who say it is hard. Picking the colors and fabrics for a quilt IS the most fun part, and why should you even want to make one if you think that is hard. People say I just do it intuitively also, but now i am finding that everyone is not like me. I usually don't watch videos about color because of this, but i did learn a few things, and Karen is a wonderful, clear and sincere teacher. I have subscribed and will be back. Thanks.
I am new to all of the information one can find on UA-cam. I was a sewer (a sewist, one who did sew?) several years ago but have been inspired to try again. I love your videos. For me, they are clear, informative without a lot of upbeat enthusiasm or fast chatter. A lot of others I have found begin to show a technique but then change direction midstream leaving you struggling to catch up. You make one feel befriended and comfortable. Thank you for all the enormous effort it must take to produce all of the lessons. I like them all! In case I forgot to mention I am old and appreciate not being talked down to as if I wasn’t invited to the party but crashed it. Again thank you.
I was fortunate enough to have a session with a stylist and came away with a colour swatch that goes clothes shopping with me didn't think to use it to buy fabric. Be gentle with yourself when the universe decides to be contrary.
With all that was going on in your life at the time, the fact that you are making videos at all is amazing. The videos are fine, they are real, as the saying goes, don't sweat the small stuff. Hope your life is on an even keel now and wishing you the best. Thank you.
Here, finally, is my next video in the Colour Your Quilt series. I have spent so long on this video and have watched it so many times, I no longer know if it makes sense. Please, if you have any questions, post them down below. Thanks for watching.
Cheryl Land Yup. Well said. Ditto
Thank you, thank you. For your perseverance and generosity. I’m trying to absorb this and I too will watch these videos many times, this is exactly what I’ve been trying to understand when I look at other people ‘ work. Looking forward to the next piece.
Makes perfect sense. A great deal of information to absorb so better as a short video. Looking forward to the next! Thank you!
I learn from you and it’s a great video

Thank you for you support. It means so much.
Just Get it Done Quilts I loved your honesty and I'm sure not going anywhere! This video, and your previous ones are perfect for my learning library, thank you!
Carmen, you are a gifted encourager! Maybe start a channel on how to do that!
I love you're videos, I get a real warmth and sincerity from you, it just comes across, you've helped me with my quilts an awful lot.
❤
It's not so much that I have trouble choosing colors but I have trouble not choosing them -- I want to use every color. I never met a color I didn't like. And cut yourself some slack -- we love your videos. Don't we keep coming back for more? Yes, we do. Just look at all those thumbs up.

Karen, you made me feel so happy today. I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time now. But, when you go to sleep tonight , know you made my life better today. Take care. 💕☀️
So Sorry Karen. Went back into your uploads. Gall Bladder and your close friend. Thank you for carrying on and being resilient. Pat
Thank you. It's been a roller coaster.

So sorry for your loss, I realize it was a bit ago. Thank you for your dedication to make these videos for us dispite difficult circumstances.
You might not have felt this was your best work but the content was amazing…thank you
I am a beginner. In fact I don’t even have a sewing machine! I’ve watched lots of videos trying to find someone who explains things in a way I can understand. You are the best!
Where have you been all my quilting life. Thank you, thank you!!!!!

You are just early for next Christmas. Thank you for watching
No need to apologize. You're great!
😊
Most important part is take care of yourself, the video is fine and very helpful.
So sorry to hear about your last few weeks, but glad to see you making videos again :) Don't be so tough on yourself. As women we don't allow ourselves enough grace to not be perfect all the time. Love your videos!
❤️❤️❤️ I think that now this video/stumbling block is done, I can move on.
Well said and never reminded enough.
Karen, I really like your personality, so bright and peaceful

Thank you for the color theory video. I have taken or watched other color theory classes but it didn't relate to quilting for me. I have been absorbing your concepts much better.
Sorry for all the recent troubles. We are thinking of you out here even if we can't be there to hug you.
Don't let technology get you down. I give myself permission to to scream or cry or laugh hysterically when needed. It does help. I haven't been committed by people in white coats yet.

If it helps, I found you channel at a time when I am recovering from a very bumpy ride. I appreciate your efforts and thanks again. Here is to more calm times ahead xx
Thank you for your kind words. Hopefully this represents the watershed moment and it's only good times. ahead. xoxo
I've taken so many quilt theory classes and they didn't make any sense. THANK YOU! It makes sense. So appreciate all your efforts.
You are so welcome!
I just want to hug you Karen and say we have all been there. Thank you for your perseverance because I definitely appreciate them. K
Oh MY! These. videos were a lightbulb moment for me. I've watched many color wheel explanations, but yours brought so much practical info. Bringing out all the fabric samples made your teaching connect in my brain. I cannot thank you enough; you're an excellent teacher. I'll be watching these videos again and again.
Thank you 😊
As a man that started quilting 4 years ago when I retired I have watched many hours of UA-cam videos to teach me what to do.
Yes! Ms. Karen...color is starting to make sense! Thank you!!!
You are so authentic! Don’t want to miss a minute
Fabulous. Don't apologise for anything. We love your fresh, interesting ideas.
So glad that you have asked for help. I hope your arm is better soon. Keep me posted
You are very encouraging to me! I’ve been quilting since 1987! Please let me encourage you. Your videos are very informative and filmed well. Your subject matter is spot on! I feel that you are true to yourself and your love for quilting is sincere. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for you support. It means a lot
You did a great job, don't be so hard on yourself!!
Thank you 😊
These tutorials have been so helpful!! Thanks heaps. I love how you are so creative, but from a more logical, scientific approach!! that's me to a "T"!!
A video made by a real person, not a robot 🧡
I love how REAL you are! I love your videos.
Next week I will be talking about applying your colour zone to a quilt pattern. This might help with those kits.
Ohhhh yes you are quite a video expert! We love you Karen!
Please accept my condolences on your loss. And thank you for soldiering on.
It has helped tremendously; we love you, Karen!
You're a brilliant teacher! I'm guilty of thinking I knew all there was to know about colour, but thankfully you taught me more and it's always fun learning from you. Thank you. Thumb's up on video skills too.
I’ve watched this about 10 times and I’m finally getting the whole zone thing!!!! You are fabulous!
❤️❤️❤️
Hope... the following:
For each cloud, there's a rainbow,
For each shadow, the sun,
And for each parting, memories
When sorrow is done.
Thankyou
Yup...I like the whole wedge!
Kudos for sticking to it! If it's not fun, take another break. Be well. Thank you, yes it was helpful!
Thank you for letting me know
@@JustGetitDoneQuilts Sometimes my mom sends me photos of quilts with 'my colors', but she forgets, that my color choices have evolved and expanded.
I have tons of books, classes, cards and ya ya ya...all on color theory. These videos made it understandable because you simplified it. 👍
What a lovely video, I love the colour wheel, I just love using shades that should not go together, but they do. 💞💞💞🧶🧶🧶
It amazing sometimes what un-expectantly works ✋
Please don't feel you need to apologize for YT taking a stem back for real life! You're content is awesome and incredibly useful and relevant for us quilters who want to KNOW what's going on with fabrics/colors etc.
I'm not one of the lucky ones who have good color sense. Your videos are helping me accumulate the knowledge I need to make better choices, and understanding why I'm underwhelmed with past fabric choices. You can't always find direct answers online. So, a huge Thank You! And a long distance hug to help you feel better!
Karen you are amazing person thanks for sharing your life. I look forward to the next episode Rosie
😊 Thank you so much for letting me know. You have no idea how much I appreciate it.
A few things
See I didn't know all these things til.i watched you...😊😊😊😊😉😉😉😉😉😉
So glad to hear
I love that you are your real self! Hey life happens to all of us. Great video
Thank you
I never had a clue you were having trouble making this video. It was fantastic!!
Don't worry about this video, your explanations were very clear and understandable and life does throw us curve balls. I've been a sewer for years but just a very raw beginner when it comes to quilting so for me a separate video about how to apply this info is great. Take care of yourself.
Fingers crossed...next week
Bless your heart don’t cry. We are all here to support and learn from you. I wish we could give you a big hug.
Keeping it real👏😊
I almost cried with you ! You have such a beatiful, honest and down to earth way about your videos that makes them incredibly refreshing and easy to watch. Thank you for sharing so devotedly!
People don't realize just how much time it takes to make a video. You are a joy to watch.
I love you Karen 😀
Want you to know you are very, very good at what you are doing... Whatever I need always look at Just get it done by my mate Karen Brown so Thankyou for your excellent help you are appreciated more than you realise dear Karen Brown .... 💜🦋🌸
Thank you Karen ❤❤❤
Take care of yourself, Karen. So sorry for your loss-that’s a LOT to deal with!!!
This community helps a lot. Thank you for watching.
Don’t have to wait to meet you. Feel like we’re already friends. Love your videos. So helpful. Take care of you. That’s all that matters.
😊
We love you just the way you are. Thank you for helping with color theory.
Oh you are such a lovely person. you need to worry about yourself before worrying about us. I am sure we can cope with waiting for you to get healthy. Thankyou so much for the time you put in for all us followers. If i ever get to Ontario I will definetly look you up.
Thank you for sharing the color sheets on your website. You are a great teacher. You are genuine and have a great personality.
I thoroughly enjoy this series on colors. It's been a stumbling block for me and you explain it so well! You are doing a great job and I can't wait to see more from you. Hang in there and take the time you need to heal physically and emotionally. We will wait for you! Hugs.
I hope it all comes together next week 😬
This series on color is just fantastic! I have a lot of color confidence, I know what I like, picking the colors and fabrics for my quilts is the most fun part, and most of the time I have no problem pulling it together pretty quickly. It's just from my gut. I have some knowledge of the science behind it but these videos explain so much what I do intuitively. I now understand why I love gray so much, lol. I've learned so much from these videos in an area where I didn't think I needed to learn much and I've really enjoyed it.
It’s all quite fascinating...and it’s always fun to push your zone.
Thanks.
it's hard not to laugh/cry with you. you are doing a great job, we love you
Thank you
I am new to all of the information one can find on UA-cam.
This is going to be one of my favorite videos of all time. I love that you are who you are - so real! Thank you. Thank you!
Thank you ❤️
We love you just the way you are, 💖
❤️
I was fortunate enough to have a session with a stylist and came away with a colour swatch that goes clothes shopping with me didn't think to use it to buy fabric. Be gentle with yourself when the universe decides to be contrary.
We absolutely love you. We will go through the times together, whatever they may be.
With all that was going on in your life at the time, the fact that you are making videos at all is amazing. The videos are fine, they are real, as the saying goes, don't sweat the small stuff. Hope your life is on an even keel now and wishing you the best. Thank you.
