This was by far the best pitch in Shark Tank. Especially the presentation, they didn’t start with a dramatic intro & actually explained every single feature of the product along with its future aspects. And their counter offer of 7% when they saw Aman & Namita teaming up was just brilliant.
What I meant was they didn’t do any “Kya aapke toothpaste mein namak hai” kind of a pitch like a basic advertisement start. They started with facts and shared a life experience in their normal voice. That’s not dramatic.

This concept will definitely bring a change in people's riding behaviour with day-wise data tracking. I have become emotional when the Altor team said they have lost their friend in a bike accident. Because even I have lost my 4 friends and my eldest brother in a car accident 10 years ago. At that moment I felt why can't there be such smart devices which can alert the driving individuals to drive safely and stay alert on roads. I can genuinely relate to the biggest problem which is road accidents. I wish Team Altor will bring a revolution with their meaningful and life saving innovative concept in India. And appreciate Shark Tanks entrepreneurs for encouraging India's young and dynamic talent.

It's not a bad deal to spend 5k on such products. They are life saver product. Nowadays people are buying airpods which costs around 3-4k just to use calling feature while riding.

I've an idea here, which could be game changing. In cases where the emergency contacts can be located 100s of KMs away; it would be better idea to push notification to other nearby users with their permission(which can be set as default in the app). That way it may be possible to find help sooner. They can also gamify that concept, that the helper will get points for this and can rise the leaderboard. Their only real completion is the Apple Watch, or upcoming such devices.
Even in my local area a guy is spot dead in a accident, he was riding KTM @ 120 KMPH Speed without helmet 😞 his head collapsed by hitting the read barrier for 6 metres continuously. Kudos to Altor team for a great invention (i was imagining this invention in my mind since a long time and finally this got invented by these genuine team) 👍

Their USP was that their helmet was smart If they focussed on the tech now, then their tech could've become so advanced that it would've taken the other companies ages to play the catch up and Altor could've made a monopoly.... May be they were thinking of too many people and anupam,ashneer basically have nothing to offer. They are better technology wise than piyush. I think only for aman and marketing this idea into people they took that deal.

So people don't generally feel connected to the product unless (someone personally has gone through the pain of losing a loved one)
But the person who own smart watches are really low in India.. Majority are from medium or low economy status... And mostly the bike owners come from middle or low class... So for them it ll be easier to but if they cut the price.. You have to think every perspective if u have to do business in long run.. How many indians yu think go on trekking or trips in comparison to people whose regular life depends on travelling by bike.. Evry perspective matters
Also think you can pick your call and decline it without wearing earphone and also it will navigate you. 5k is a very good deal for such a great product
I baught a dumb helmet for 5k which does nothing other than protecting me from wind & accidents. I think a 'truly smart' helmet deserves much more than just 5k.
5K is really the perfect price..Just look at it..In 5k you are not only getting a helmet..u are getting a security....and Even a decent normal...or a little designer helmet comes around 3-4K....so I would say 5k for this product is actually very less ..
Everything is perfect. Just one thing I'd like to say sharks don't really know what the prices of helmets are in the market these days. 😅 500 sir, 500 ki to aajkl achi cap bhi nahi aati 😂. Normal we are already paying 2k-3k for a good quality helmet so i wouldn't mind getting the smart helmet for 5k. It'll be just like one time investment baki mostly depends on how you take care of it just like your phone.
Services should also be integrated with local Gov. ambulance service to achieve faster help along with emergency contacts it will help long distance riders, in places where connectivity is an issue.. locals services will provide faster help and in turn save more lives. Just a suggestion as I lost my friend too in a road accident unfortunately I am an not engineer.😔

As a biker if you are going to buy a safe helmet , it will cost you around 5k easily like mt , axor . These guys are insane that they are maintaining that price along with features . Respect

It's not a bad deal to spend 5k on such products. They are life saver product. Nowadays people are buying airpods which costs around 3-4k just to use calling feature while riding.

I've an idea here, which could be game changing. In cases where the emergency contacts can be located 100s of KMs away; it would be better idea to push notification to other nearby users with their permission(which can be set as default in the app). That way it may be possible to find help sooner. They can also gamify that concept, that the helper will get points for this and can rise the leaderboard. Their only real completion is the Apple Watch, or upcoming such devices.

May be they were thinking of too many people and anupam,ashneer basically have nothing to offer. They are better technology wise than piyush. I think only for aman and marketing this idea into people they took that deal.

So the choice was correct.

I think 5k for a smart helmet that can save ur life and provide lots of features was very reasonable, ppl buy smart watches for 6-12k, Apple smart watches cost arround 20-50k but we r hesitant on buying a user friendly life saving smart helmet ? Wow Typical indian mentality.

@@savitarcodm9635 I think the reason is that choosing a smartwatch and smartphone is a sign of status, and adds to your personality, whereas a helmet is more of a safety thing . So people don't generally feel connected to the product unless (someone personally has gone through the pain of losing a loved one)
But the person who own smart watches are really low in India.. Majority are from medium or low economy status... And mostly the bike owners come from middle or low class... So for them it ll be easier to but if they cut the price.. You have to think every perspective if u have to do business in long run.. How many indians yu think go on trekking or trips in comparison to people whose regular life depends on travelling by bike.. Evry perspective matters
Also think you can pick your call and decline it without wearing earphone and also it will navigate you. 5k is a very good deal for such a great product
I baught a dumb helmet for 5k which does nothing other than protecting me from wind & accidents. I think a 'truly smart' helmet deserves much more than just 5k.
5K is really the perfect price..Just look at it..In 5k you are not only getting a helmet..u are getting a security....and Even a decent normal...or a little designer helmet comes around 3-4K....so I would say 5k for this product is actually very less ..

Normal we are already paying 2k-3k for a good quality helmet so i wouldn't mind getting the smart helmet for 5k. It'll be just like one time investment baki mostly depends on how you take care of it just like your phone.

Services should also be integrated with local Gov. ambulance service to achieve faster help along with emergency contacts it will help long distance riders, in places where connectivity is an issue.. locals services will provide faster help and in turn save more lives. Just a suggestion as I lost my friend too in a road accident unfortunately I am an not engineer.😔
