Aw thank you! Truthfully I probably won't touch it because once I'm done with a knitting project, I am DONE. Haha it's really hard for me to make changes once I cast off!
You could cut the sleeves, ravel out the extra fabric and Kitchener stitch them back together. Done it often for kids sweaters when they get taller but not heavier so they just need extra length. You add in, in this case, what is needed and then Kitchener back together. Works a treat.
Another great episode Amy! I love how honest you are about projects and things that don't go so great ! Would love to see you talk about past knits at some point and whether your feelings about them change ! Can't wait to see the whitmoor cardi and your future summer projects (esp cami no 5 !)
Hi, I'm knitting Uppbot now and was wondering, in the pattern for the body, where it says, 'work until body measures 26(27, 28, 29,30)cm', does this include the rib section or not? Thanks
Oh my goodness, I was only half watching while I knit (as one does lol) and then I heard my name. Your Cliff Walk socks are so beautiful! I love how they're working up in Serendipity. And loving all the cardigans you've been knitting lately. They've really been inspiring me to cast on some more for myself.
Loved seeing your projects! Would following the chart from the bottom left instead of bottom right (as assumed for righties) have the same effect as mirroring it? That's typically what I do :)
I think as long as the chart is symmetrical that would work! I used to read charts like that, until I did Petite Knit's moby sweater where the back is shaped with short rows while following a chart. Because the short rows made each row a different stitch count (asymmetrically), I actually ended up with incorrect stitch counts and misaligned stitches. Since then I've been mirroring and it fixes issues like that!
Dusty blue whale is one of my favourite colorways from KFO! I also have plans to make a camisole from the ones I have in my stash. Lovely episode as always Amy ❤
You might be able to do a little sweater surgery to remove length from the sleeves and graft it back together. Knit California did something similar a while back to remove length from the body of a sweater, I believe
Thanks for the suggestion! I did see Knit California's video on it and it seemed to work well for her. Not sure if it will work on my sleeve because it is tapered, so cutting out a large section might lead to unequal stitch counts on either side.
What a beautiful purple sock yarn 🤩 I have just written my first sock pattern that has appeared on Ravelry - DIONYSOS - I think it will be something for you 🤷♀ Take a look 🤗. Thank you for a pleasant and inspiring episode ⭐
I love everything that you showed us , the socks, the patterned cardigan and the lace cardigan that you have on the needles, thank you for sharing them with us.

GA Amy I love love that sweater yes jacket is gorgeous and looks so beautiful on you !!! Turn you cuffs up maybe that will feel better on length but I think this will be a great staple in winter Your Provance sweater looks cute and your colour You always do gorgeous work!!! 😊💝🇨🇦🇨🇦
Love love love 💕 you Uppbot! U inspired me to make one. Your steeking video is great. I have a sweater I not like but as a cardigan I think I do, so I’m going to steek it. Thank you for that, I’m totally going to do that.
hi amy, i was thinking about your problem with the sleeves of the icelandic jacket and what about just cutting some cms in the blue section and then kitchener them together? i know it is still a lot of work, but definitely less than redoing the entire colourwork! just a suggestion. and i'm very excited about seeing your jurney with the cami 5! i knitted mine last year and i love it and it's kinda funny how everyone seems to have so many problems with it haha
Thanks for the suggestion! The sleeves are tapered so depending on how much I cut, I think one section would have more stitches than the other so I couldn't kitchener. But I'm glad to hear someone likes the cami no. 5! I'm really hoping I like it too!
For the Uppbot Jacket, you could cut into the middle of the sleeves, unravel an inch or two and then graft the two halves together. There’s a tutorial on Fruity Knitting (Episode 33) about 11:25 (ua-cam.com/video/wMT_8Pct95Y/v-deo.html). That way maybe you’ll get more wear out of it, it’s a lovely jacket!
I just got an embarrassing amount of knitting for olive yarn and am using the pure silk to make the moonset tee by ozetta! I just cast it on in black and I think it’ll take me ages but be such a good staple wardrobe piece
Just curious, why do you describe the KFO Dusty Artichoke color as 'infamous'? I've only heard good things about it, so I'm wondering if there's something I missed.
Please please please don't do anything to your neknitsamy's Uppbót it is BEAUTIFUL I love the fit of it and the colours on you. You did a great job!!!

Thanks Vanissia! That's a great video idea!

Your knitting is incredible!! I'm always amazed at your beautiful projects. Then you for sharing!
I'm knitting a cami with a lot of small cables all over in the dusty artichoke pure silk, and knitting a cumulus tee rn, too! Great taste :P
Your jacket is just gorgeous!!!, it looks fabulous on you. Th Ernest of your makes are lovely too. Look forward to seeing what you make next ❤x
I love a good excuse to take a day trip to Salem…now I’ll have to check out Circle of Stitches the next time I go!
I love your sweater! I also am short. A quick easy solution is to roll your cuffs back. That would shorten the sleeve length.
Great job on steeking your Uppbót! It looks amazing.

Could you tell me where you got the Disney collection of Yarns? Was it a yarn club?

@@neknits Thank you!
Those lacey socks are awesome and the yarn looks scrumptious too. Glad you have a good time in Disney

You always do gorgeous work!!!
😊💝🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank you!
Ahh, I used the Clover US 2 DPNs for my Whitmoor too! They're super sharp and I got stabbed quite a few times, hahha 😆
I've had many near misses with them on my lap; I'll bend over and it almost stabs into my thigh! I'm considering sanding them down a little bit haha
Love love love 💕 you Uppbot! U inspired me to make one. Your steeking video is great. I have a sweater I not like but as a cardigan I think I do, so I’m going to steek it. Thank you for that, I’m totally going to do that.
Wow, that's so exciting! I hope your steeking goes well!

The moon set tee is such a nice pattern! I can picture it in black being a great wardrobe staple!
Oh wauw the last yarns that you bought are absolutely beautiful!
Your lopi sweater is gorgeous. The shedding will stop! They are my favorite sweaters.
Good to know! And thank you!
The Provence beautiful is stunning on you! I think it’s really beautiful and I can absolutely see the blue in it 😍
Thank you!

I think you caught me using the word infamous incorrectly - I've also only heard good things! Probably meant to just say "famous"
Ooooh, gotcha! It does look like a lovely color. ☺️
Lovely episode 💙
