I am having the same noise from the board for my cooler.
The board for mine is not the same as yours, and they have gone up quite a bit in price, so I want to fix it.
    A couple of quick questions.
If I test the transistors, and they test out as not completely blown, (power flowing one way, and not the other), could they still be an issue? Do they go bad without having complete failure?
Also, what is the component next to the transistor you replaced with the coil around it?
    Is that an induction coil?
Could that guy be the problem?
    Many thanks!

Generally speaking it's not going to be the coil that fails (yes, that part is an induction coil). In these switched mode power supplies (SMPS) the components that tend to fail are somewhere else. Have a look at Learn Electronics Repair and Haseeb Electronics for tips on SMPS troubleshooting and BE CAREFUL as the voltages involved routinely approach 400v!

      Thanks for the reply!
I ended up just rigging a power supply with a thermostat to run mine.
I’m using it as a cigar coolidor. So that’s working out pretty good. I just wanted to have the variable fan speed for a more stable temp. With my setup it’s just on or off.
But still keeps them nice and fresh.
