    My brother and I found that there doesn't seem to be free software to tether our Nikon DSLRs with our Windows 10 & 11 computers. When I tried some Canon cameras last year (5D2, 5D3, 6D), tethering was simple using Canon's free utility and it worked flawlessly. However, with our Nikons we haven't just found the right free software to do the same thing. If anyone is using free to download software to tether Nikon DSLRs on Windows 10 & 11 computers, we'd love to hear it.

      The NX Tether Version 2.0 is free. They do not explicitly mention the d4 but say that other cameras than the ones listed will only support the most basic tethering functionality. So maybe it works? 🙂

      @@CotictimmyI did try. Strangely the software can see the D4 but will not connect to it.
