I think this requires more skills than just English. I think is speed and the ability to retain information after listening.
I think so
Exactly. Even in my native language I wouldn't be able to write numbers correctly if someone said them so quickly
True
You are right. He has spoken fast on the video and that's why,, I couldn't understand much. But, I don't care
He tried to trick. Not only by saying them relatively quicker, but also he kept changing the pattern of numbers.
It's pretty Difficult to listen in that speed but it makes me feel like i won't give up , i can do it i can do it , and this video improves my english alot
Me too. Good luck ♡
Hello, I speak French and not English I used Google translation to translate your message into m’y language 😅 it’s always strange to talk to someone who comes from abroad but your message is really great because your say you shouldn’t don’t give up in life and completely agree with you have a good day 🍉
@@samira21618I guess, Now you can understand english messages easily than 9 months ago
it made me angry
Why
Because not ALL people were born in America!!!!!! @@JavohirGulomov-ft2gl
I even screamed because of it
😂
@@user-vp6kx3lx5e What does being born in America have to do with telephone numbers from another country in an English Listening exercise?🙄
How many correct answers did you get ? Tell me in the comments.

15 is a very good score. Congratulations and keep practising. :)
I got 13 correct answer! I get hugely nervous with this kind of exercise but I love them...lol. I need to improve my listening! Please make more videos like that. It's a suffering but I like!
This is an useful practice due to the presenter dictate the numbers as happen in real life, it means in a normal speed. Yesterday was my first day in a customer service position, and it was a big challenge understand people by phone dictating their numbers in a high-speed way!! Of course I had to ask for repeating so I realized that I need more practice taking notes or write down numbers and letters. Thanks for the video, it was a great tool to improve my listening skills.
It’s interesting to know, u still work here?
Me pasa lo mismo jaja
No know
FUK, HOW TO REMEMBER IT RIGHT ON IELTS TEST? THEY SPEAK SO FREAKING FAST. REAL SPEED HERE
Hope, your English is better now

Hi Andrew!! thank you so much for this practice, it was really helpful for me to improve my listening skill.
Andrew sir, your listening videos are awesome i like so much .. thanks for giving us..
This is an excellent video. THANKS ! 12 of 20
Something that helped me answer correctly: is that you repeat each number block he says in a quiet voice or out loud, and when you finish the first block repeat the other block quickly and etc. So the key for me was just repeating!!
I have the same tactic as yours

Excellent exercise for Academic English
Thank you for this exercise. I was wondering if it is necessary to add a space between some numbers,as shown in the video, in the ielts listening test or we can also write all digits together? Thanks in advance!
The first set of numbers is the area code, eg 0121 is Birmingham, whereas 01902 is Wolverhampton, if you notice, Birmingham has one less number in the area code, this means that it will have *one* more number in the actual telephone number, i.e. 0121 358 2378 as opposed to 01902 741741. This is because the area covered by the Birmingham dialling code is much larger than the Wolverhampton dialling code and so give the ooportunity to generate more telephone numbers.
i've also qustion like that.cause i always do not write telephone numbers with space between them.
Gracias!!!! Muy útil el vídeo!!
Awesome.. got 18, it was the first when i didnt focuss and no. 7 when i was confused bout double or triple
Thanks it's great
Really good for practicing the numpad on a keyboard
18/20, I was specially wrong in the 4th one, I couldn't hear the 0 between 8 and 6, as you read it too quick.
