What is Arboriculture?

Trees are good for us... They provide a wide range of environmental, social and economic benefits to society.
However, not everyone knows about the profession which is responsible for these amenity trees: arboriculture.
Every amenity tree you see in your day-to-day lives is there because of the work of a long chain of professionals, perhaps dozens or even hundreds of individuals working in different areas of arboriculture, all part of the tree care community.
As an Arborist you'll be a hero in your community. Enhancing public safety, ensuring that its greenery remains healthy and beautiful and supporting wildlife.
Arboriculture isn't just about trimming branches; it's about nurturing life, enhancing our surroundings, and safeguarding our beloved trees. It is an art and it is a science. It is nurturing, maintaining, and conserving trees. It is understanding the intricate needs of these living giants and helping them to thrive in our urban landscapes.
It provides a career with endless opportunities to learn and grow. It is an area where anyone can provide a valuable contribution. It is so much more than just trees. There are opportunities and the need for a variety of skillsets.
