Joey continues to be my go-to on the Dice Tower team! Awesome recommendations for more Shadows of Brimstone, can’t wait to get that in, built, and played!
I have appreciated his take on things. It's been a nice breath of fresh air in terms of game recommendations. Not that I have anything against the other guys, but I've been watching them for years so I've kinda gotten to know their likes and dislikes.
I love watching Joey. He doesn't take himself seriously, doesn't call others dumb, he is goofy and laughs at everything. He puts me in a better mood than any other contributor.
I like watching these guys talk games (but there's a but), but none of these make me shiver with anticipation. I'm looking forward to a bunch of crowd-funding titles fulfilling this year.
I am SOOOOOO phyched for Deep Regrets, it looks amazing. I'm also excited from Tend, and the Monsters eating people movie lol I'll have to look into that one
Well, they aren't. These are the games we are finding early January. I'm sure other big games will be announced, as they have been the last 40 years. :)
There is a lot that people even the Dice Tower people can't know. Way more than enough board games will be released in 2025. And my shelves are full of games that I haven't played (enough) yet, so I guess I will be saving a lot of money either.
@joeferreti9442 I know, obviously I don't think these will be the main releases but honestly judging by all the 2025 previews across channels so far, I'm not too excited. I'm waiting for the unannounced stuff.
@@joshuamiller9793 we got a “half playthrough” which was the first year - it was a four player game and took a good 90 minutes to get that far (largely because there was a lot to learn) but we got to a good rhythm where the turns were flowing. It was really great - and I can see there being so much replay value
@@MS32816 Yes, I've been excited since I've backed it. I almost never back games on kickstarter now too. That might have been my only kickstart last year.
It blows my mind that you guys aren’t including the game Tabletop Inc. The theme says it all! The productions quality looks over the top! It’s a game that’s bound to inspire aspiring game makers and give those that are not, a glimpse into a bit of the process! It’s looking like it’ll be a masterpiece.

Love seeing Joey on these lists. Great addition to the Dice Tower for sure. For me it's got to be Blood by LMS, and Valheim...if they actually come out this year.
"Chaosium isn't known for board games." Maybe not now, but the company was originally founded by Greg Stafford 50 years ago specifically to publish his fantasy wargame White Bear and Red Moon, later revised and republished as Dragon Pass by Chaosium and then Avalon Hill. The last I heard, Chaosium had a 50th anniversary edition of the game in the pipeline for release this year.
FLOE funded Mar 19, 2024 and its estimated delivery on the campaign is June 2025. Seems odd FLOE was called out at the beginning of the video. Guess maybe it was being demoed before the campaign? Not sure.
Definitely some interesting choices but I'm surprised that the Chip Theory Elder Scrolls game isn't on any list; maybe they consider it a 2024 game since a few copies managed to get delivered before the end of the year?
@thedicetower Given that they were cancelled after season 1 and the fans somehow got them a shortened season 2, they did the best they could. A lot more than Lost did with 6 seasons. :-)
It's really frustrating to the professionals who worked overtime to prevent a Y2K problem that the whole situation is now a joke. It's like acid rain. We worked to make sure it wasn't a problem, and now it's a joke. Thanks y'all! Don't ever work together to solve a problem, because you might be laughed at.
Well, I think we are joking about people's irrational fears. I'm GLAD people fixed it! But I will also poke fun of people who were afraid on that day after New Years had already hit 10+ time zones! At no point is anyone making fun of people who fixed the problem....
I know someone who traveled to Vegas because they thought slot machines would start spitting money. Life is absurd, and you can both appreciate the humor and thr hard work people did (tl;dr: lighten up)

Darn it - this is the second time a miss a show where I get a mention. Still gonna consider myself a superstar though, since Zee said so. #winning
I love Joey and miss Mike.
Can't wait for the Top 100 games of all time...I hope Mike will be there :)
If we can't have Mike...I do also think Joey has great chemistry with Tom and Zee
I agree, hes upbeat and fun to watch.

What did I miss why isn’t Mike around anymore?
@@aherosquest4536 he's gone to the ol' farm up the road, surrounded by the Great Doctor Knizia's games.....
Agreed
So looking forward to top 100 of all time! Hoping Mike is in person for it?
Wow, what a great list...started odd, but some really great titles and explanations and ones I Hadn't heard elsewhere! Well done!
39:28 cole did that 3 years ago with Oath
Restart looks really cool but unfortunately it was canceled.
I like watching these guys talk games (but there's a but), but none of these make me shiver with anticipation. I'm looking forward to a bunch of crowd-funding titles fulfilling this year.
Unmatched Bruce Lee vs Ali ❤
The art for Raas shown at first is so much nicer than the cover shown in the 'action shot'...
I am SOOOOOO phyched for Deep Regrets, it looks amazing. I'm also excited from Tend, and the Monsters eating people movie lol I'll have to look into that one
Looking forward to Vantage, Spirit Fire, and the Garphill South Tigris Trilogy expansions.
Did you all get a look at Speakeasy? Would love to hear about that upcoming game.
I don't think Lacerda is any of these 3's cup of tea.
Really looking forward to Luthier! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that Paverson have copies at UKGE this year.
If these are the main games coming out in 2025, I'm going to save a lot of money.

What about the fellowship trick taker? That's my pick for sure!
I'm super super excited for Galactic Cruise.
Got to play it at PAXU - I’m even more excited for it to arrive now!

My guess: Tom is anticipating more Heroscape. He's been excited for 25 years, he should still be excited for more. I know I am.
I like all the variations on how to pronounce Terraria that Tom was able to pull out
1:04:46 Beautiful harmonization there
So glad to see the love for sea beasts. Iv backed this and I'm super hyped for it

The number of surefire masterpieces that have come and gone in the last 20 years...

It's fixed now! Apologies about that. Little rusty after the week of Christmas off.
@@thedicetower Thanks! I hope you had a fantastic Christmas! Happy New Year! 🎉
Loved the music anthem! 😅
How'd they get John Williams to do their theme?! 😂
Woot! Forsaken at 6 and 2! 💜😁👍
I love the dice tower
Speakeasy (will see if it actually delivers in 2025), World Order, Luthier, and Purple Haze top my list at the moment.
Looking forward to the mini Great Western Trail Game.

I'm here for the Cthulu game. We love Poirot and Cthulu, so this is got cool written all over it.
Was hoping for a mention of the elder scrolls betrayal of the second age
Brink is one that is missing yet I am excited about.
Dredge is amazing so I just had to back Deep Regrets!
No cyclades legendary edition?
I think the Restart campaign was canceled a few months ago.
I'm most looking forward to Tend, Ada's Dream, and Luthier
I'm looking forward to my copy of GWT ElPaso

cool story bro
The box says "Lairs" not "Layers".
I want to see Dragoon Empire comming to Kickstarter
Unannounced open world stonemaier game is top on my list!
I thought that was Vantage?
@ did Jamey announce the name? I may have missed that!
Embouchure. That is the way you hold your mouth when you blow a musical instrument.
I played Restart at Spiel. It was really good, but they cancelled it unfortunately.
24:57 I asked Alexa multiple times a week sometimes a day when Season 2 was coming out until it was finally announced.
Forsaken seems to be back on the track after its derailment.
Wow no one is waiting for unstoppable??.
that trumpet bit at 19:05 needs to go on next year's "funniest moments of 2025" list lol!
Forsaken got massively hosed by another publisher over some total BS. I am happy it will be coming out this coming year

Except for Forsaken, anyone else super uninspired by these games?
If anyone is really interested they finished the Jericho story in comic form the Wikipedia page
The Restart KS was cancelled. I doubt it’ll come out in 2025.
Zee might be thinking of Starbound, very similar to Terraria, but significantly less approachable.
I been waiting for adventures in neverland, but not sure if it ever will come out. And I am at this point figuring I lost my big money investment.
I honestly can't stand the art of the Terraria board game - of all the times to NOT have it be 8-bit art.
my anticipated games are games that they put for their top games of 2024 since they arent games that were readily available
