Lol the Air Force 1’s of cars
Just picked up a set in blk
Perfect analogy lol
Just got Vanquish White
Got me SBC on the way for my s2000
XD
Mclaren used Enkei's on their F1 cars for quite a long time, this design was used on Mika Hakkinen's championship winning car in 1999
Yes
Some say the rpf1 came stock on every evo ever
And every s2000
Lachlan Brodie and Miata's
@@lachlanbrodie7181 And they look sexy as fuck on a toyota 86/brz too
@@lordoftherims436 I just got them in sbc for mine painted solar orange
Alex is the type of guy to flirt with you and sell you wheels without you noticing
“ common, I got good rubber?!”
😳
Klaxz _ is that what happened?
I literally just bought these lol
Alex doesn't seem like he is gay, be nice
On top of being a charismatic, funny dude, it's videos like these that show that Alex also definitely knows what he's talking about. Mad respect to him and everyone else at FI
🙏🏼
This didn’t age well
Fitment industries, WEIGHTS of wheels should be an option to filter products by. . .
Thank you for the suggestion!! We are working on getting weights in general on the site but to be able to filter based on weight is a great idea!
@@FitmentIndustries 1 year later and here i am looking at a set of wheels for a new car and there is still no sort/filter by weight! dont give up fitment industries! that would still be one of the best wheel search filters out there!
They don't wan to weigh them because if would be customers find out how much a wheel weighs they might not buy it.
There are so many different specs for each wheel it’s hard to know the weight for each and every spec of every wheel
@@zodspeed There would be so many different wheels left in stock if the weight of them was known.
Youre an iconic wheel.
The guy or the wheel?
TAKE IT BACK.
Lol
Those are my wheels ?
Just got my 1st set the other day. My life is now complete! Bought them off a buddy in plain silver. Soon to be a shiny gold. I can't wait.
Literally just bought some for my mr2 spyder and I’m so excited to get them on, currently have some 20 year old momos that are just heavy and slowing the car down
Thanks, this was helpful. I was looking at specs for the PF05, saw MAT technology and Spec-E and that brought me here.
It’s like you knew I was about to buy these
I recently purchased a set of 4 black chrome for my 95 civic EG. Oh man can't wait for them to arrive!
My favorite wheel hands down 👍🏽
great video, that really solidify my reason to buy rpf1 for my next set of wheels..TE37s are too hard to find now in 17s in Vancouver, BC
just picked up a gold set for my S2000. so common but so good. always wanted a set...
gotta live the dream, man! what color is your car?
Have them on my fc.always thinking about getting rid of my set up but when I see it on my car i just can’t.
@Patrick Ross and just spray it gold
May I ask what fitment tires included? Or website link? Fellow ap1 owner.
@@JR-vu8wg assuming you have rolled fenders the go to sizes are 17x8 +45 front and 17x9 +45 rear with 225/45 and 255/40 tires.
Can't go wrong with rpf1s
RPF1s, the entry wheel that's quality, and won't break the bank all while giving you the right look. Given that you choose the correct offset/width of course, including FWD applications. These are the wheels that help you on your way to a more iconic wheel, the TE37.
sad thing is...you save 0.9lbs a wheel with TE37 vs Rpf1, and the TEs arenearly 4x the price. Titanium lug nuts would save almost the same amount for 1/3rd the price
Got these for a 2006 1.8 Sentra. Got them powder coated a bright yellow. I wanted something lightweight and saw these and sorta knew they were a name brand wheel. Then I started noticing them alot more often on alot of different vehicles.
Well, I was going to buy those for my ‘03 Jeep Liberty, because I was planning on building a Sleeper, BUT I don’t actually know if they would fit properly that’s just my concern. And great video btw , keep it up with the good stuff guys!!
Alex has, in a short time, mastered the sign off, laying down the peace sign with a command like no other. Kudos, Yoda.
A man of many skills and talents 😂🙌
Yessir. Been riding them forever. Got them on my Type R
I think you should have mentioned that one of the reasons its so popular for people racing is that you cant get anything lighter for the same price. Ive got a set of 15x8 on my miata and weight was the whole reason I bought them. The closest thing comparable would be the 6UL but even that is a touch heavier for the same size (something like .2lbs)
The Advanti Storm S1s are a pretty good alternative for Miatas as well. I believe they're slightly heavier but much lower cost. Personally I prefer the look of the RPF1 though so I'm probably gonna get those for my car.
U still slow
@@ssjdavid lol what's that P.O.S in your profile picture. I'd rather the MX5
I think that depends on your application. If you're running 15's, then yes, you're right about the weight. But if you go up a size at all, other options immediately become viable. In fact, just go up to 16's and they become heavier than my Konig Hypergrams. 16x7 RPF1 is 18lbs per, whereas my 18x8.5 Hypergrams are 17lbs. Don't get me started about 18x8.5 RPF1s that are close to 30lbs a wheel.
It’ll be awesome if you guys would do a comparison between the rpf1 and hypergram because both rims are fantastic. But it’s always a battle between the hypergram and rpf1 that this one is better and that one is bad. Please do a video!
Got my first set today in gold for my red 86 and i couldn't be more excited haha. Funny thing in the video mentioned the FRS also gold 4:34 lol
Just placed my order for a set of these with Andrew. Thank you.
I had RPF1's on my g35 coupe. I loved them for the 2 weeks I had them on the car before selling it.
Those wheels are awesome, one friend have a neon srt4 with those wheels and the wheels are not heavy at all
*How Can You Not Know These Wheels?*
They are light. And look good on everything
Planning on getting these in 14” for my miata
Reminds me of my favorite wheel back in the mid-late 90's, the TSW Blades. They were the 5 spoke version. Yeah, I know...lol. Took me almost a year to save up for a 16" set on some fat 50 series rubber (BFGs of course lol). I thought my '90 EF hatch (1.5 of course lol) was the shit!
Saving up for my first set as we speak 💯💯💯
I don't have any idea what I'm looking for in terms of wheels for my Alfa 155.It's got old 90s spec speedlines on it that are 205/25r15
Ha I found the song in the background and I love it ;)
Ive quickly found that VERY few wheels can beat its weight, and if they do....then theyre all more expensive quite a bit. Which sucks as youd think after 20 years someone would make a lighter similarly priced wheel. Wedssport are the only ones who make lighter wheels for under $500(18x8 +45 from weds is 16.24lbs, vs 18.0 for the RPF1 in the same spec)
I just bought a set for my 2011 STi and I'm in love with them. I bet you wouldn't be able to guess what color I chose ;)
just got some in bronze ..really like the wheel and the look of it but almost didn't buy them cause alot of people have them and everyone hates them cause everyone has them lol but the price is just too hard to pass on for what you are getting and maybe if i was rich i would get some crazy 2k wheel but for now i have no regrets and can use the remaining money on other performance mods..
Well we'd love to see your ride uploaded to our gallery sometime! bit.ly/2Ma4oca
Picking mine up for my 2019 Civic coupe once the snow clears out.
I have 16x7’s on my 18 sedan 6MT.
So do these hold up to daily commuting on the roads? Does a bigger sidewall help protect them like a 50 or 55
@@greeneking77 Yeah they hold up pretty well. I do slow down when I see a decent sized pot hole
God damn it I miss my chance to meet Alex at Sema. I had planned to go out this year again but I got hit with a state ref last month
My favorite wheels ever! I have these on my Mini Cooper!
also there so light, car handles a lot better. I had the stock ugly 15” Steelies
Sound wild you should upload your Mini to our gallery! We would love to see it!bit.ly/2Ma4oca
I’ve always loved rpf1s and I just recently bought a fiesta st that came with them already and it was the cheaper option st
I've checked out the link for enkei rpf1. May I know if my mkv gti running on stock suspension with h&r lowering springs. Does the Rpf1 18x8 et35 able to fit in?
Got em on a 06 Infiniti m45s they work wonders.
I see that Motegi MR406 in the background 😉 you guys should ask Motegi (or maybe Papadakis 🤔) if you can check out the wheels they showed off at Irwindale they made like a commemorative edition of one their wheels
🤔
Racing Hart CP-035 is the most iconic wheel in my opinion. Its a pity they dont make them any more. I love the Volk TE37 also
Never heard of it.
light weight wheel, eassy to mount. and it balances great. not a lot of weights needed
About to get some SBC RPF1 On my white evo 10 Super keen 😄
If I change my wheels size do I still use the same tire pressure when inflating them or does it change?
Hey Alex, will RPF1 in an 18x9 et35mm fit a 17 Golf R w/ 245/40/18 on stock suspension? I seem to keep finding mixed info on that including on F.I. website.
So, new xxr forged wheels has similar offsets and are on similar price point... which is better in terms of quality?
Can you put these on a daily commuter civic? I just want to get a little better gas mileage and would be running 205 55 16s so hopefully the bigger sidewall can protect the rim.
Im actually think about getting these...ON A FAIMONT FOX BODY..yes you read that right. the offsets they offer that I calculated will fit on the car in 18 18x7.5 and 8.5 back. I do want a pro touring car on a budget lol
Y'all should also mention how to tell if its authentic or not. Simple answers but will help a lot of these new guys on the market.
Would you know the measurements of the lug pockets diameter ? Like on a 18x9.5 +38 rpf1 wheel ? Asking Bc I want to order wheel locks but idk the size
Here a good one for you guys to review.... do one for magnesium wheel....
I wish they would of mentioned how the face changes depending on the wheel width. I got a staggered setup and looks fuggly due to spoke design
Best wheels I've ever had
Bought a Mini Cooper S with 17" RPF1s on it. It looks good on anything.
Always a classic look! And functional. -Edgar
Can it handle load index 106/104 Light Truck? I like to have it on my Nissan NV350, which I normally carry 2100 kgs. of load, but I'm not sure if it can survive the load. Thanks!
What year were the RPF1s released specifically?
Just bought a white 2g eclipse gsx and I’m interested in the rpf1but I’m curious if anyone has any other suggestion. Or is this wheel the wheel for me¿
How would you say these compare to the Volk TE37s? I currently have the Nismo wheels on my Z.
nice center caps
I have a 2001 MR2 Spyder. is a 15x8 +28 a good size for it? Will it rub?
Love enkei's
I love my enkei rpf1 in sbc but after running them for three and a half year one of the wheel has paint flaking. Not sure how I can prevent this problem from getting worse.
Repainted duh, nothing last forever bro
@@EasterEgg-dn9kd I’m talking about prevention bro not spending more money on the same wheels. Anyway these wheels are a thing of the past.
Started this video forgetting I had 1.25 speed setting and thought Alex was just really excited
Can you talk about Gramlights DR series, I've always been in between these two wheels.
those are 5lbs heavier than RPF1's per wheel which is 40lbs of rotational mass. That will slow down a car and make it harsher on bad roads.RPF1 wins on performance and suspension feel. Trust me. I learned the hard way. Do it right the first time.
A set of 17-18 rpf1s would be awesome for a new Camry!
hey alex i want a 18x9.5 but i’m worried that it’s going to rub on the struts and shocks
what would be advisable for it not to rub?
Spacers could help! Shoot us an email at shop@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you more on this!
It looks good on a lot of vehicles. Even a mini van lol.
I still need to grasp the diameter, width, and anything else for a rim, aswell as a tire. For example: For the brz I want,I also wanted to see if I could fit a 17 to 18 diameter rim. But I still have time for it. And I'll be looking forward to all of the paint care and car products you guys are selling. I can get it from somewhere trustworthy.
You could always check out our online gallery for your fitment questions! It is a great tool that has an awesome filter to help you find the exact stance you are looking for! bit.ly/2Ma4oca
I have the Fr-s on 17x9 +35 all around. If I remember correctly, this will poke slightly unless you run some negative camber. Although for most FR-S folks, my wheel size is pretty conservative.
Honestly though, it made my steering feel and feedback worse. The car is still awesome, but it’s definitely not as good as going with a more conservative width and offset (for example 17x8 +45).
@@Momo_8k ohh ok. I'll get it eventually. Thanks 😁
so i have a 09 impreza the bolt pattern is 5x115 can i find a pair ?
Can u do one on motegi mr-131 traklites
This or That: Enkei RPF1 or Gram Lights 57xtreme? 😉
What's the best stuff to put on these for some sort of protection? Wheel wax???
That or ceramic coated professionally! -Edgar
Gonna grab these for my wrx have em purple tho 🤘🏻
We can hook you up! Just shoot us an email sometime at shop@fitmentindustries.com and we can find something!

Fitment Industries sounds great. Thank you.
can you guys talk about apex wheels, specifically apex arc 8's, i feel like thats the enki rpf1 for 3 series bmws
Pretty much. They’re strong, lightweight, affordable, look pretty damn good on any BMW, and they were actually developed specifically for the brand. It’s about as “OEM Plus” as a wheel can possibly get.
Just ordered these for my 1st gen tsx from u guys, hopefully 18x8.5 is a good size, stretched tires to make it look better?🤔 and a fender roll maybe?
What about the kosei k1?
Question: what kind of wheels would look good on an 03 Mitsubishi galant? Im looking at getting new wheels for it but need some advice
Keep it simple. Advan RZII looks good on damn near everything including galants.
Check out what we have available for Galant wheels here! ---> bit.ly/2yonOWe
what would be a good alternative to the rpf1 in terms of weight
Something forged and more expensive
have these on my track car because... why wouldn’t i? evidence that you can make wheel snobs happy on a budget
I feel bad because I was really planning on getting wheels from you guys but a set of rpf1's came up for a really great price on my area and I couldn't resist. I bought my suspension from you guys though and I'll buy the rest of the parts I need from you.
No hurt feelings man but you better get everything else from us! 😂😂
What's the difference between 5x100 and 5x114
admiration, replicas, hate, criticism, all because they are great, even if everyone and they mama has 'em
bought mine from Fitment, what ya fools waiting for go buy something!
You tha real MVP 🏆
im bout to buy J10s for my mk6
Do they make this wheel in a size and bolt pattern that would fit a Volvo V60 Polestar?
Sadly they do not but we have other Enkei wheels with that bolt pattern! bit.ly/2ErST0Z
Do the spokes more straight if the offset is 15 vs 45?
Spokes will stay the same no matter the offset!
Only Tuesday?? I'll be there Thursday to Saturday..
What colors are available?
I have boring stock Corolla KE70. How??
Hey Alexis iam I'm interested in two of your wheels on your wall to where on my TL could you tell me about
I have rpf1s reps from jnc with a 20 offset
BABYBOYNENE planning on getting these soon, how you liking them?
Hey Alex wheels of Enkei wheels fit my 1997 Honda Prelude? I want 17”
Here's all the Enkei wheel's we have for you! - Jt --> www.fitmentindustries.com/store/wheels?sort=popular&year=1997&make=Honda&model=Prelude&trim=Base&dia=17&brand=Enkei&bolt=5x4.5%2C5x114.3
Amazing wheel for function and aesthetics, along with a fair price. I’m just tired of seeing them on EVERY.....DAMN.....CAR
That's the only reason i ain't getting this wheel no matter how i love them. Heck they even put them on suvs lol
I have been waiting🤨
It should be noted that wheels excellent for racing are not necessarily ideal for daily driving. Stock car weight puts a lot of stress on these wheels. Add stiff coilovers and pothole plagued highways and you'll hear stories of people bending 3 out of 4 wheels in one winter. Some time attack teams would go through several sets in one season. What makes these wheels worth more than their weight in aluminum is the fact that the face will hold it's shape even if a spoke cracks.
Enkei's tuning series are more daily friendly and road-oriented (i.e. the TS-10, Kojin, T6S etc.). Enkei Raijin were specifically made for daily driving with the benefits of a wheel as light as a race grade wheel like the NTO3+M.
k_wrx_ learned something today.
Depends on the car weight and tires series(say 245/45/18) also too. That 45 series tires on a s550 mustang may beat them up even more than a BRZ on 25 series tires
I did the math if I got them for an integra like 15 x 7 I would save about 6 lbs a wheel which is 24 total
Im a bit late from Andre’s stream. (The guy that’s building a Most Wanted M3 and is going to SEMA!)
OMFG same
