Just discovered your channel; thank you for reviewing this zigxag sketchbook. I am assuming this is not 100% cotton paper. So I will not be purchasing it. Love your paintings…Wow!!

Hi Alice! I discovered your channel a few days ago through your Schmincke supergranulating colors reviews. Very interesting. Thank you for those. Your urban art is really pretty and I love your use of color. I really enjoyed this sketchbook tour. Longevity btw means archival in this case. Seems to me that the translation is a bit off here.

hello~ thanks for your kind words. Happy that you are enjoying the videos so far! I figured longevity means archival for a sketchbook/ watercolor paper. I wonder if this was because in german longevity = archival for papers?

@@eurekawanders When used for papers the German word "alterungsbeständig" means archival, that's correct. But the expression is a bit tricky to translate because in other contexts different expressions could be more fit (non-ageing or permanent would be other possible translations). Also, for inks archival would have to be translated as "dokumentenecht" in German so it's also tricky to translate the other way round.

    It’s a German brand right? A bit pricey where I am but I heard it’s pronounced ha-ner-mu-ler
