What Lemmy did for that one young black kid had more impact than so many 'we wrote songs for those issues' or benefit concerts for awareness, I feel. He straight up acknowledged that one individual and said "it's fine to like what you like, and I like you for that" which was powerful, that's acceptance and beautiful. That one video which I saw too a few years back, was beautiful and I'm glad a moment like that has been preserved and can go on to help inspire others.
@@AfterWorkReactions I saw Motörhead 8-9 times and one time was at a small Canadian resort ski town… amd he ripped the crowd to shreds with low key clever insults and i howled with laughter the whole time. One example. Lemmy- “ hey!!! How many of you know us from the most recently played video?” Crowd goes wild. Lemmy- ya that’s proves you don’t know shit! I howl with laughter as they play a song from the 70s that no one knows haha. Gold
I know exactly the lemmy clip you're talking about, he was acting as a kind of agany-uncle. "tell em to get stuffed boy, didnt do Jimmy hendrix any harm", or words to that effect.
It was a game changer in the uk , me and my mates used to leave the pub on a Thursday to get home in time to watch it . It’s not aged well and I always hated any character Akexei Sayle played . But it still deserves its place in the uk pantheon of iconic comedy series 👍🏴
Love it when Rik falls down the stairs taking everyone on those stair rails to the groin. Just beautiful slapstick at its finest. I miss physical humour.
Lemmy was a good guy. When Ozzy Osbourne got sued by the father of some kid who committed suicide: Lemmy came out publicly and pointed out how this kid had enormous problems ( the kid turned out to not even be an Ozzy fan ). Lemmy was just a bit rough.
Watch the comedy film 'Eat the Rich', it has Lemmy acting in it, and was made by the 'comic strip presents' people (Rik and Ade etc). It's a really funny ride.
I loved what you said at the end of this video. Sci-Fi and fantasy fans are often the nicest and gentlest people out there. Also the most intuitive and intelligent. SciFi and fantasy has always been an ideal template for examining the realities of our world, the human condition and setting out new ideas and ideals to deal with it. It usually fails but the dream goes on...
Thing I *LOVE* about this comedy *&* Life of Brian is that a Man having a baby is pure, unadulterated comedy aimed towards a Man having a baby 🤣🤣🤣 But in this "woke" day and age the "woke" racket says this is normal, *do not laugh* if you do, your a biggot 😡😡
"the "woke" racket says this is normal" Even woke idiots do not say a man can have a baby. You are even dumber than they are. Take your BS politics elsewhere.

"Nothings off the table", a great way of describing The Young Ones!
Especially Mike, since he got nailed to it!
@@Rocket1377 then after the table got burnt... nothing could possibly be "on" the table either..!
"No Mike no !!!" Gets me every time. 😂
LOL =]
Charlie - Tango - TeaKettle - Barbeque
*KKKKHHHH*
Good final thoughts and nice compliments to Lemmy. Class act.
Thanks bud, he seems like he was a great guy =]

Lemmy was amazing. And he was absolutely hilarious. RIP
The sight of Rick chained to the bed when Viv emits his huge fart

Rik is hilarious =] He was great at physical comedy.

season 2 is awesome.
You have to watch Filthy, Rich and Catflap next. Best show ever!
Ooeerrr sounds a bit rude! 😁
I tried but could never get into it
@@memyselfandi2506 it’s a great show but you have to be of a certain age and lived in the UK to get some of the jokes.
@@FooFighter33 😂 I’m a 43 year old scouser. Loved young ones and bottom. But just couldn’t get into filthy rich

'His beard'.
.
Ep.3 mate?!
Not seen in this video but Neils "Open up, it's the pigs" is on of my favourite Young Ones quotes.
All is blurred in EU / Not UK :P
Oh no! Steve Hillage!...
Looked so much like Lemmy it never entered my head it wasn't.
Why did you stop reacting to the remaining episodes of The Young Ones?
I think the sound went out of sink half way through.
I had that when watching on my TV but, oddly, when I tried on my phone it worked okay. Weird!
Well, the sound probably got out of sink half way through because it was too wet in there.
Very good Sci Fi movie to react to is...
Galaxy Quest.
Plenty og LAUGHS.
There’s a video-sound problem towards the end.
😂😂😂❤
Alexi Sayile ruins this show for me, he just annoys me
