One thing that’s confusing to me so far is why back airs connect when opponents are clearly in front of them? Are the hitboxes that large or is this something that’ll get fixed later? Saw it with Kragg too earlier in the tournament. Just curious as a Smash player.
@badub2523 Ranno's back-air has a sour hitbox on his front foot. It's a good combo move in addition to being a kill move on the strong hitbox. As for Kragg, a lot of aerials in Rivals 2 have reverse-hits ATM. That shouldn't have anything to do with the size of the hitbox, but it does increase the versatility of several moves. Also keep in mind that hurtbox shifting can always make certain attacks appear to have more range than they actually do.
