PM literally stands for project melee, it was made for the purpose of making brawl like melee. wouldn't have existed without melee. i LOVE pm but it's so stupid when people try to correct people for saying rivals 2 is like a successor to melee by saying "more like PM 2"

I’m pretty sure the lead game designer and programmer of rivals 2 was still competing in project M like a year ago and there are people who have worked on project m on the team. It’s an apt comparison, regardless it was a statement made as a joke and not really that serious. I didn’t expect a reaction like that lol
