    • @rproce2729

      The Fishing Addict they work perfectly just like the mackerel.

    • @Engineer_Heathen
      @Engineer_Heathen 7 років тому

      The Fishing Addict love using bunker strips. The only thing better is bluefish strips.

    • @swagdawgwill11
      @swagdawgwill11 7 років тому

      Ok cool, yeah I'm over in the western Long Island Sound and we don't get to much mackerel, maybe in the fall sometimes but in the summer usually no. Good to know, Ive been using just gulps and Squid, they work well but would like to try bunker strips, maybe could entice more bites.

    • @swagdawgwill11
      @swagdawgwill11 7 років тому

      Yeah Ive used Bluefish and Sea Robin Strips, just wanted to see if bunker would still do the trick.

    • @Engineer_Heathen
      @Engineer_Heathen 7 років тому

      The Fishing Addict I like putting a thin strip of bunker/bluefish right over the gulp grub.

    EDIT: the app hasn't been updated, and YOU WERE RIGHT, it's 9/5! Should've known you'd be on top of it.

    Do you recommend a 1 piece rod over a 2 piece rod? Are 2 piece rod's just not very good? If you got a deal on a 2 piece rod, would you take it? Is a 2 piece rod something you can work around (I mean, use with caution)? I got a deal on a 2 piece surf rod, lightly used (not a ding on it) for half the price new (A st croix) from a friend. I had to take it. Thanks !
