- My best ultralight stove setup to date. A collection of tools that can prepare a meal from fresh ingredients and still fit in a (largist) pocket. Suitable for a day hike. This is achieved by using a minimalistic approach to choosing items.
My other video " Different approach to simmering alcohol stove" • Different approach to ... outlines the thinking behind the design of the stoves. The one used for simmering burns 1 ml of alcohol a minute which makes timing easy. If a 20 minute simmer is required then add 20 ml of alcohol.
My video "Perfect Rice #7 Mess Kit Monday" • Perfect Rice #7 Mess ... details the rice cooking method which achieves consistent results. - Навчання та стиль
I am loving this compact cooking system series! Pretty cool ideas you've come up with and I especially like your home made pot stand 👍
The pot stand works quite well. Over the years I have tried all sorts of pot stands and have settled on this.
Enjoyed this so much. I watched it twice. Love this set up. Thanks for making the video.
Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to comment
I love employing to two separate burners, eliminating the need to risk refueling a hot stove. Clever!
Thaks for watching
Such a cool series. Looking forward to part 4!
Thanks. I'm quite busy at the moment so the next one will not be for a week or two unless I get a few moments to myself. Sorry about that.

Well done.

Nice. Question - how big are your pockets? How do you fit all the veggies, and rectangular pot, in your pocket? 🤔Also, what do you use for keeping the seafood cold, and how do you carry that in your pocket ?😶
I'm told that I have deep pockets and short arms. Hope that helps.
