I am a Manc and been stateside now for 19 years now! A few years ago I was playing footy and a big lad on the other team started talking and straight away I recoginised his Scouse accent! I smiled and asked "where you from mate" and he responded " I am from Liverpool", straight away I responded "OK give me a minute I am just going to hide my car keys" , he laughed his bollocks off and we have been best mates ever since!
As a youth, I hated scousers. Now I’ve seen the world and lived a heck of a life, I truly think that there are some fantastic people there and starting to think that the powers that be quite like the working class being divided and fighting each other. Great interview and 3 fantastic people on this.

Why would you hate them anyway unless your a manc. One of the best cities in the world that has produced famous people and has won world heritage sites and European capital of culture. Are you another one of them people who got brainwashed by the media?
Your first mistake was hating them preemptively. Your second mistake was not hating them for being the judgemental people they are
Exactly. The tories brainwashing half the country to hate Liverpool. They put Liverpool on a “managed decline” in the 80s and haven’t gave a shit about the city since. They wont get no conservative votes in Liverpool, so why would them stuck up bastards bother? That’s their way of thinking.
The conservative government have been running a divide and conquer campaign for the last few decades. Ireland, Scotland, working class, immigrants, they have no shame. I can understand how young people can have prejudices and it's important that they are allowed to expand their mind and experience different cultures and different people. Only then do people take people on face value. As a 20 year scouser going into sales in the 90's covering the whole of the UK I often met people who took an instant dislike to me just because of the way I spoke, difficult to deal with at that age. The Harry Enfield jokes and 80's stereotypes get boring VERY quickly. On the other hand it builds a resilience and if you continue with integrity it gives you satisfaction to change opinions. I had a Manc in Spain to me "I hate scousers but you're alright...".

Meatball and Paddy are two gems in the MMA world and they both seem to have their heads screwed on. Hopefully they succeed in everything they do and change many lives in Liverpool and throughout the world! Legends.

Im a manc and I lived in Liverpool for 5 years, after growing up hating the scousers, I miss this city so much i have some of the best friends a man could ever wish for and honestly these two are just cut from the same cloth as every other liverpudlian... salt of the earth

Gary Neville is carving out a fantastic new role for himself here, he connects so well with other sports people, the mutual respect is so apparent in all of these interviews. This one was pure electric, i have never heard Paddy speak before, and i hadn't even heard of Molly previously, but their intensity and passion, not only for their sport, but for their community, is incredible. of course, it doesn't hurt to have that natural born Scouse "Scally" charm and wit.
This is easily the best one of these shows i've seen, fantastic job to all involved

One thing that stands out is the love molly & paddy have for each other and the connection they have, finishing each other’s sentences almost , very supporting and understanding of each other what an amazing energy they have between each other x
