That’s really not true. If you watch the show with her growing up, she wanted it. She started on a Dance Mom’s competition spin off and got 5th place. In the 5th season of Dance Mom’s, she was brought onto the show, and at that point, contracts had been signed. There were a group of young girls who wanted to so badly train under Abby Lee Miller at her dance company. In the later seasons where Abby started to act ridiculous, the girls were older and able to build their social media following. From there, most of them have been in the public light. Jojo 100% wanted this opportunity. There were other girls offered spots on the Dance Mom’s TV show that didn’t take the offer after participating in the spin off competition. I understand how it looks, but these are the facts

My mother had to have her right arm (whole arm like 10cm below the shoulder in 2017 and she was right handed and she has not complained as much as these teens do about nothing 😮

as a child, your first objective in life should be to learn how to care for your own wants and needs and validate yourself. children who grow up around cameras and crowds are subconsciously taught that the only or the biggest validation that matters is the opinion of others. every child should be taught that they have a voice that matters and that external validation isn't something you should depend on. unfortunately, the industry promotes the complete opposite all to make money off of them. no wonder these kids are so messed up later on; they have no sense of identity or control over their lives at all growing up in that environment.
Childhood itself leads to massive issues. I know a lot of adults who weren't famous child stars who aren't well adjusted either.
It's not if handled well.
