Sometimes you get hit but didn't fall over on your back, its because you in the middle of other animations like roll or jump? And that trick with levitating crystals and flying through the floor is amazing
You use A to control it, but you can do A+B control instead and it changes the movement. Also it does damage and swirl around while you use items that you collect (Up+Start). Late reply, but hope this helps :)

and does it affect killing bosses (vs hit/inv frame) ?
