The giant door part in portal 2 is so funny, because right after you open it, it's just a giant wall with a small normal sized human door, the big blast door is literally only there to make it seem cool, valve has such a good humor. Most other doors are from Black mesa btw.
i know this video is old, but i need help with the silo hatch. i read online that you need to surround it with the hatch frame and the button in the center of a side of the frame and yet it doesn't open the hatch. It just spawns the blocks in the corner and nothing else happens. I'm playing rlcraft, so still 1.12.2
i realized that the one i have installed isnt the most recent update. also, in case this is important to know, im using the extended version and not the reloaded
well i realized what it was. the block just behind the hinge is what causes it to open and close, so i dont even need the frame at all. just a redstone signal that leads to it so that i can open it

No the reason it exists is that they accidentally made 5x the size it was supposed to be and the thought it was funny so they just left it

Yes it's a port of the 1.7.10 version to 1.12.2 with some new stuff added
