José Feliciano is a nine-time Grammy and Lifetime Achievement Award winning Puerto Rican-born musician, singer and composer. He is known for many international hits, including his rendition of “California Dreamin’” featured in Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 hit movie “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”, The Doors’ “Light My Fire”, “Che Sarà”, “La Copa Rota”, “Por Qué Te Tengo Que Olvidar?”, and one of the best-selling Christmas songs of all time “Feliz Navidad”. In 1968, Feliciano stirred national controversy and made history as the first artist ever to stylize the national anthem. His soulful recording of “The Star-Spangled Banner” became the first version of the anthem to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. José Feliciano's new album "Behind This Guitar" was produced by long-time collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer Rick Jarrard. It features the single "Behind This Guitar" and a cover of "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac.

Concerning Jose Feliciano's Sting song rendition: There's something much more important than whether that performance was good of bad. Legendary artists have a way of pouncing on their ' mistakes ' and turning them into something amazingly better! Example: On account of that rendition now more people than ever know about Jose Feliciano's incredible career.

Yo también estuve en ese concierto pero no tuve el honor de hablar con el. ¡Ya me hubiese gustado! Desde 1969 que sigo y colecciono su música. Me sigue emocionando como el primer día. Enjoyed watching ur video frm the Grammy Museum ! Have been a long time fan. Especially enjoyed listening to ur Light My Fire album. All of the songs on that album are AWESOME ! Kudos to whomever selected all those songs on that album. It's a collection of mellow songs. Still have that original album !

Being hard of hearing I have to turn up the volume all the way. So I not only hear Jose play I can feel the vibration of every string he plucks. So I’m literally feeling his music and it feels great.

My Wife and me are looking forward to seeing you in Victoria Texas on March 26 2022..the first I saw you was 9n a local TV station here in Houston. It was called.. Cita Con Carlos. Very popular program back in the late 60s This when I first heard of you.I really don't remember what song you sang. But I do remember you singing and speaking to Carlos .Next Thing I hear you do cover song..Light My Fire...and my. first reaction was ...hey hey that the guy that saw on Cita Con Carlos...Man he covered this song so great.i knew from hearing from lots of friends they love. It just as well. So this is why I've e joked his music for so long and my wife as well.See you in Victoria Texas.
