Seeing this journey through the passenger side window is a new experience for me. I got used to seeing it from the train-driver's cabin but the extraordinary beauty experienced while traveling on this train is stunning, no matter where you sit. So much better to watch a journey like this on YT than vapid reality shows and pandemic news on television, peppered with annoying adds every 5 or so minutes. Seeing something gorgeous like this is never boring, always relaxing and so much fun, especially when my daughter joins me to watch it on the big screen, like now. 💕 I love that you provide us with info along the way. We both enjoyed the trip immensely. Thank you my friend! 💖💖🥰🥰💖💖
Awesome! My husband and I did this exact trip a few years back. Wonderful memories. The train broke down right in front of the glacier and fortunately we had lunch and some great Italian beer in our backpacks, that we so enjoyed while the train was getting repaired. Now we are watching this from our sofa in Florida and enjoy it just the same. Thanks so much for the great video.😚
Супер відео! То їдеш в електричці по високих Альпійських горах, то по березі чистого озера, або річки. ДЯКУЮ ЗА ЦІКАВЕ ВІДЕО! Super video! Thank you! 👍👍🏞⛰🌲🌲🚆🌲🌲⛰
The Bernina line of the Rhaetian Railway is closed due to a landslide between Poschiavo and Alp Grüm. Since at the same time the pass road is not even passable, it is not possible to provide a replacement service. This is indicated in a press release issued a short while ago by the Rhaetian Railway itself. For the local population, an extraordinary bus connection has been set up from Poschiavo to Cavaglia and a further train shuttle service from Cavaglia to Alp Grüm. The offer is valid in both directions, therefore also from Alp Grüm to Poschiavo. The duration of the interruption is indeterminate. Trains on the Bernina line run between St. Moritz (GR) and Alp Grüm and between Tirano (I) and Poschiavo.
I hiked the whole route in two days a while ago and took the train back. Your video just brings up memories. (Lay Nair is my desktop background picture since then)
Love your videos, you made me think of adding this train ride to my future vacations! One suggestion - get rid of the watermark from the center, it is annoying. The one in the corner is enough. Cheers!
Point noted. You may check our special and "exclusive" section of the Glacier Express train journey videos too...we are sure you would love them too! Greetings from Zurich 😊
"Prossima fermata: Gorgeous Views"! Did the train leave Tirano on time? 😜 Anyway, all videos with smooth camera movement can be instantly made into a good quality 3D experience: all you need is a pair of sunglasses. What you do is you cover just ONE eye with it but keep both eyes open. The eye you need to cover is the "trailing" eye with respect to the motion, so for example starting at 0:40, cover your _right_ eye, and starting at, say, 10:00, cover your _left_ eye. But keep both eyes open. The effect disappears when the camera stops moving or faces more directly forward/backward, or when it simply zooms. (The effect works because slightly darker images are processed by our visual system with a fraction of a second delay, so we end up with a genuine stereo pair.)
Thanks for the Great information, though i have 1 Query. Could we travel with our luggage (4 People with their 4 Medium / Large Trolley Bags) without much hassle or disturbing anyone else during journey. I hope the Train Coach have space for storing luggage...pls revert if you have any information on same.
If money is not an issue, First class is certainly more comfortable and a bit less noisy (not all the times). For the best side to sit, please watch this video as this video shows BOTH sides of the journey and helps tourists to decide "their own" best side. This video will certainly help you in deciding the side. [Both sides offer great views, depending on the route.]

I would love to scoop some of those glacial waters and drink it on a hot summer's day

Yes, it did leave on time. 😊 And those two words (Prossima fermata) ring in my head all the time I take these trains 😅😅

End July/ early August.

♥️♥️🤗🤗👏🏻👏🏻👍👍
If taking the train from ST. Moritz to the end at Tirano, can we ride back on the same day? Or you have to stay at Tirano, Italy. Thank
Yes, you can.
😍👍💞
Is it worth getting first class seat also which is the best side to sit?! :)

日本では有り得ないこと。鉄道でイタリアとスイス違う国に行く。
How do most people get to Tirano?
?? By train or car.
