This wine is literally made to be drank at the beach on a hot summer's day in Portugal with some seafood. In Portugal, they serve it with an ice pack on the bottle to keep it particularly cold and refreshing. It is an amazing wine with the glou-glou factor

It’s my favorite wine for a hot day, so that makes sense why they drink it that way there haha. I also always make sure it’s especially cold. The best of them are slightly effervescent too 😋

Vinho is pronounced "vinyo" with an N followed by a soft Y-sound. NH is the equivalent to GN in French/Italian, or Ñ in Spanish.
Same with Minho and everywhere else you see the NH combination in Portuguese.

An FYI, Vinho Verde is actually better around 40 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s fruitier and more crisp at a lower temperature 😉
