Hi, I just want to point out that this lady is the 10,00,00,000 beneficiary of the scheme, which is a huge milestone. She IS NOT THE LAST BENEFICIARY of the scheme. The scheme is still going on till every last Indian has access to cheap cooking gas and a basic home.

Hello, thanks for your review. Please note that the 10th Cr was not the last one. It is a milestone. It is not 10 Cr persons but 10 Cr families meaning at least 50 Cr people benefitted with average 5 per family. The distribution of LPG gas will continue to people who haven't got it yet.

It’s not an intrest or loan , it’s a government initiative to provide 2.5 lakh rupees for a house in 3 part( 50k, 1.5 lac, 50k) depend on progress of building. This yojna is called pradhanmantri aawas yojna For poor people and amount directly goes in there bank account .

10:37 pak has some welfare programs for certain sections, as far as i know, but not as vibrant as in india or as in those nations which rely heavily on welfare economics. countries like denmark and sweden have welfare programs even for well-equipped citizens. however, welfare economics has its own drawbacks too.
In UK, all citizens above sixty gets free transport, free medicine, and free hospital treatment by the best doctors. When they reach sixty seven, they all get pensions unlike in India where only governmnet employees get pensions.
