Becoming Yogi(a sanyasi) is an extremely tough decision. whoever opts for this path, he has to consider himself as a dead person and perform the last rites of himself and do Pind Daan(it's like citing maghfirat ki dua in Islam).......so he already emancipated from any boundation viz a viz Family life, wealth possession, etc - since he is dead as Sanyasi so he can't go to his home as a family member, neither he can help personally his family member. - But he can serve society and humanity so he is doing just that.
