Steve Grad wasn't intending on selling any of his Star Wars items. He just brought them to the store for marketing and publicity. He will sell them privately or at auction for a better price.
The guy with the desert storm cards clearly sold the Chipper Jones card individually, and replaced it with a cheaper knockoff hoping to double his money.
Best Star Wars poster with the most signatures I have ever seen. I am still trying to figure out a way to get Harrison Ford's signature on my 3 posters that were made for the re-released theater showings of the first 3 movies that were made, have Mark Hamill's on 3 and Billy Dee Williams on 2 of them.
When you are talking about cards from the 60s and 70s centering is rare. The card sheets were cut rapidly by a machine as a result there are more un-centered than centered cards. Centering became a thing more in the 90s. BTW the set sells for over 300 dollars.
In 1977, everytime I went to the grocery store, I bought out every box of the Tops Star Wars cards, and even had them order several boxes for me. My parents divorced, my mother remarried, and we moved in with our new step-father. I had already had an entire Star Wars toy, and card collection, first issue, for 4 years, intact, never opened because I knew they would be worth money some day. I had my collection in a trunk, in the basement, the basement flooded, and destroyed everything. It breaks my heart to see how much they are worth now. That would have been my college education, or a house.
@@Gldn1017 Yes he did.. 😂 You have to really watch out for people now days even if they look honest like this old guy.. It's a shame people trying to get over on everything that they are selling.. Take care..✌
I don't think so. I'm thinking someone either lifted the DS version replacing it with the regular CJ RC or he wasn't paying attention when he added it to the collection or he purchased the set this way, not realizing the CJ was missing and was taken himself. Rick even realizes its an easy mistake, advises him to get the right CJ RC and come on back, they'll do business. You don't do that for someone you may think has tried to rip you off.
