  • Forging a knife from dirt bike chain.
    This knife did go to auction to support young Motocross driver Viktor Leppälä.
    Handle is stabilized Karelian curly birch.

    Awesome work! I remember as a child my father making knives out of old files with a forge he had in the garage/barn. This brings back good memories.

      @@leppicknives9830 The project started with a 1/2 inch depth and 1 inch wide and half way through the project the depth is still 1/2 inches and the width is 2 inches. ????? go figure

      @@robertowens9852 Sorry i missed you messege. If you look again the video you might notice 2 forge welds. First one in the canister and the second one adding slice of 52100 carbon steel in middle. You probably missed that second one.
