The cast is everything. They’re perfect
Luffy getting names wrong and Sanji just cooking for the crew. The cast dynamic is insane, we rarely get to see the strawhats interact in the anime with just hanging out especially after the time-skip because of the story needing to progress but it's great to see this. It feels like seeing the Strawhats just hanging out and having a good time. I'm hoping they get another season.

You don't often see cast do these well at least when recording themselves, the energy they bring first perfectly with their roles
Obviously they play a little into their roles to represent the straw hat crew even outside of the series, but it still feels pretty genuine!
Inaki was born to play Luffy. By far, the best adaptation. Impatiently waiting for the next season...
he really was. i'm not even a One Piece fan, i just remember a little bit from the first season from my childhood. and man, he is the perfect translation of Luffy into live action.

The fact Iñaki went from Imperfects to One Piece is wild to me. My parents and I loved him in that show and were upset it didn’t get a second season, but seeing him in One Piece made us smile. I hope OP gets a second season. It deserves it. Everyone in the cast is great and they adapted the manga pretty well.

Just by looking their real life interaction in this video already given me a real impression vibes from what I've always been thought about how the crew would interact in a real world. What a perfect cast, all of them.
One reason the show works, is that the cast has natural chemistry. When they are in their rolls, it just becomes a group of friends playing pretend.

@@tjjavier YES. And some sad parallels. Taz has opened up about his traumatic past and Jacob about the loss of his parents. These people really do relate in multiple ways, so I hope the role brought them some peace and also some benefits as they really found friends for life.
