Why are they hiding face ? Something is wrong with them?
Most likely it is due to protestors previously being doxed by the pro-Israeli terrorism people who spread the protestors' personal information online such as where they lived, which led to them being harassed and threatened and so forth.
It could also be a means of trying to show solidarity with the people of Gaza, many of whom are Muslim, since Muslim women dress like that as part of their religion. Also, as they reported in the video, many of the protestors are themselves Muslim.
Also, perhaps some of them are still concerned about covid and social distancing. There aren't any protests happening in the town where I live but maybe 10 or 15% of the population of my town still wears masks due to concerns about covid. Those concerns might be heightened among people clustered together in a large group.
