Chip , your shoe reviews are the best!
Big thanks. They do take some time to create.
Love the review brother! It looks like yours are all black, are they the waterproof model?
Not the official water shoe, the Aqua X, which I reviewed in another video, but they dry faster than the Aqua X and I use the Mesa as water shoes all the time. I have two pair now, and the old black ones from this video are my current summertime water shoe.
Instant trust due to correct pronunciation of trail. NC native here, yes! Bravo.
Something as awesome as those mountains deserves correct pronunciation.
Thanks for the review, I'm gonna get these for backpacking!
Are these shoes very breathable? You said that they work well as water shoes; can you elaborate? I'm looking for a pair of shoes for hot weather than vent REALLY well.
They're more mesh than not. On wet days, your feet will get wet, and that does tend to also mean they let a lot of air in on dry days.
Where do you find these places?!! It’s 28 degrees one day and the next you’re swimming in the creek (or is that “crick”?). Love it!
The mountains of North Carolina are kinda magical, if you avoid the omnipresent ignorance and bigotry of a lot of the small towns around here.
@@Bodytribechip Had a cycling buddy retire (from CT) to Boone. I've had thoughts of doing the same in a few years... What's it like?
@@JosephDowski The Blue Ridge Mountains in NC, particularly around Mt Mitchell (Boone, Micaville, Burnsville) have some truly spectacular pockets of beauty. Culturally there are growing pockets of art and free thoughts here and there, but all against some deep rooted bigotry. So the land is stunning, but a great many of the people are not.
Great shoe bud have tried the wp version a liitle bit stiffer but fully waterproof for the cold winter days
Thank you 🎉
Most welcome.
The audio on this video is so over the top for a simple review, lol. Love the effort (also, drum and bass 👍)
Was that Dorian’s lat??
Nailed it. If i wanna example of 'lat,' I use the best.
1:30 in to a 4:30 video and he hasn't said a single thing about the shoe, just hyping himself. Moving on.
So visuals involving the shoe showing them in the environment I use them isn’t interesting? Yeah, move on. Go read an Amazon review.
Beautiful video, are the mesa better than speed force?
For everyday use and some adventuring, the Speed Force will always be my first choice. For dirty, rocky adventures (my other 'everyday use'), I'll throw on the Mesa IIs.
Are Apples better than Oranges? Road shoe vs trail shoe..
"Appa-lay-shun" is how I've always heard it.🤔
Through most of the south, they'll school ya good for that. I know from experience.
@@Bodytribechip How far over South, 'cause I'm born & raised SouthEast Texan, and that's the only way I've ever heard it? I'm not sayin' it's right of course, as we're not even near those mountains.
@@MikefromTexas1 It might be once you hit the Appalachians, cuz from 'Bama up through Virginia, the locals let me know.
@@Bodytribechip Ah Virginia's so far up north, they don't even know what "Southern" is.😂
@@MikefromTexas1 The closer ya get to DC, very true, but towards NC and WV, it get rural & bigoted, just like much of the rest of the south, sometimes so much so that it seems they're making up for being so northern.
Im from Maine. We say AppaLAYchian.
Sounds ignorant
