Seeing your dad so excited about that magnet catching the stray filings was great. Good Sunday content
Tom, if your dad ever wants to write a book with his memories and knowledge I'd buy it in an instant!
Nice video Tom the ginger warrior is a book of knowledge if he wrote a biography I would buy it
If I could, I would buy it before it hit the shelf!!!
Go outside and u will get knowledge yourself.
@@davidhesselink6331 That's very true, but it can't hurt to also learn wisdom from the old timers
Same
Tom its really nice to see you and your father working together, talking things through. (In my family, my dad and brother have a hard time collaborating on anything.)
"Coz you are hot stuff, dad!!"
- Tom to Ginge, May'21
Cherish the times with your good old dad Tom, he’s full of knowledge and a top bloke! A true Ginger Warrior! I bet he could spin a few yarns “in the nineteenth green” I can picture him now “beer 🍺 in hand” holding court!! Great video.
More wisdom from the Ginger Warrior! Seeing the two of you working on a project together warms my heart!
Glad you guys finally got some sun! Its been so rainy out. Your dad’s full of knowledge always, I love it even though i’m not a farmer. Hope it stays dry so you can get your mowing done!
Omg you are so lucky to be working with your dad like this! Very nice
It’s the little things that matter. Life is made up of little things.
I could watch maintenance videos every day👍👍
Love a Sunday bonus video with the Ginger warrior, Look after it now and it won’t break on you when you need it ! And we know it was a push to get it done so thanks again Tom !
You take care of your equipment and your equipment will take care of you. The maintenance is not the fun part but it is necessary. I love watching you and your dad work together he’s a wealth of information and is always willing to chip in and help.
I love your dad he is so smart about farming and your mom is a great lady that works hard trying to keep you two not mess up her parking lot
Thank goodness you got a video out!😃
Saved my weekend
Top tip, You should always undo the filling point first, before draining! Neat washing up liquid brushed into the tarmac will get the worst of the dropped hydraulic oil.
Interesting video. That magnet had your Dad pretty excited. He really liked that. Great to hear him explan things. Have a great day
Great Sunday video. Sometimes the maintenance videos are the best. It's what goes on. Good to see.
Tom .....you really are very lucky ...your dad is ace...great experience and wisdom on tap.....I love to listen him and his contribution!!! I am sure I am not alone...ALWAYS words of valuable expertise!!!
You would get more oil out if the mower was level.
Magnets in oil sumps is a very common thing. Most cars I have owned have had them, you get them in most gearboxes. My chainsaw and lawnmower have them. They are everywhere.
White metal bearing are not magnet, BMC used gearbox and engine together they had magnetic plug.
I enjoy any video you do on the farm some more exciting than others but everyone shows life as it is always a bonus when your dad makes an appearance and we had a double bonus a couple of seconds of your mum. Keep the videos coming and Happy Farming.
A Sunday video 👍🏻 its great that you show the maintenance on your channel aswell as so many people forget the hard work that happens before the fun jobs can begin.
Maintenance is a necessary evil. Takes time to do, but it is something that needs to be done regularly if you want your equipment to last and function properly. We all pay too much for our equipment not to perform regular maintenance. Nicely done Tom and Andrew! Hopefully, the weather cooperates for you now!
Look after it and it'll look after you 👍
Dunno if been said yet? But 'silly boy tom!' Quick way to stuff ya hand or finger up using impact with blade's, cultivator points etc! I speak from experience using 1 on a chiesel plough and taking a good chunk off 2 finger's just as boss said use vise grips or pilers not your fingers. I learnt that day. Anyway cheers n beer's from New Zealand 👍👍🍻🍻🚜🔧👨🔧🤦♂️😁🇳🇿
Been there done that 😩
Love the bonus Sunday video!👍
There's nothing like getting a little grease in your fingernails and if you'd wash that mower and spray it down with fluid film which is made from sheep lanolin it would stop that rust and preserve that mower for a long time love your videos can't wait for mowing to start
Was coming here to mention fluid film. Not sure it would do much underneath, but the rest of it...
Sheep lanolin... I’ll be researching that for sure.
A beautiful day for mowing! ☀️🚜
Love your pops man. True man last of a dying breed. Hell yeah brother from the US
Great to see the mower out Tom
Hi guys, all aircraft have mag plugs in the sump and some in the filters. They even have some connected to a warning system and a light flashes when a quantity of chips collects. Everyone who has ever removed one says wish I had this fitted to my car. 😊 keep up the good work guys I find it very educational. 🇦🇺
Great video again Tom. Maintenence is the key to long life of your equipment. I couldn't help noticing that the sight tube of your fuel tank is leaking and not correctly attached. If this was to fall down it will empty the contents of the tank onto the yard. Keep up the great work.
Brilliant video Tom, thank you 👍
Cracking video Tom. Your dad is a legend
Love watching your dad, such a cool dude 😎
Love the maintenance videos! This reminded me I need to grease our gate’s pillow blocks lol
Your dads such a legend
great video good luck with the weather hope it stays dry and warm like today.
Pops was giving some sage advice right there at the end.
Wooo, Sunday video, cheers Tom.
I love the way the guy with the Ginger moooostash moves along with tec, a new soil termometer 👍🏼
Can't wait to see the Malone drop some grass 💚👍🏼
The Ginger Warrior is awesome! I loved this video. Thank you so much for sharing.
An early oil change never did any machine any harm.
It’s not just iron filings from bearings and gears, I’ve seen sand in oil from the casting process on cast gearboxes, especially if they’re using cheap components made in China, like all companies do these days!!
Everyone Tweet FORD UK and lets see if we can get TOM a Ford Ranger....we can do this!!!!!!
Another great video tom👍👍👍
Some good weather coming up this week Tom! Good luck with the mowing
Tom, you could use the old slurry pump to make a washdown bay and keep mums drive clean.
Awsome video Tom can’t wait for silage time to start 👩🌾👩🌾👍👍👌👌🏴🏴🇬🇧🇬🇧🚜🚜🚜
Hope you get this message. Just now I saw on UA-cam that there are memory foam mattresses for milk cows in America. More milk production and much happier cows you lay down longer. They are guaranteed for many years.
Hey tom, when we close our clamp we like to put a vacuum under the plastic and you will be suprised how much air it sucks out. When you do this maybe you don’t have any waste in your clamp. You do have to seal the edges better with more tires or the best is sand. Maybe worth trying👍
Great to see some nice weather! 👍💪
I'm reading the comments and everyone is talking about you and the ginger warrior and all I can think about is you left a mess on the parking lot 🤣🤣🍿
queue 1 malone front mower, will be bought by end of the season, along with that vestrum, work smarter not harder as i say at work, and you both deserve that vestrum to make your lives easier at busy times
Dad used to wrap mower bed in oily/diesel soaked sacking then plastic, it was still bright and ready for work next year.
Without doubt a cutting-edge video!
I see what you did there...
Nice little Pemberton video to end a Sunday morning with. 👍😄
Your gonna love a ranger, I picked up mine yesterday and it was the best investment ever.
Your dad is my favorite.
“No ones sent a Ford Ranger yet..”. If only that would fit in the post.
Just send it piece by piece the shell is the only thing u couldnt ship then isnt it 😂
@@conormorley6086 makes me think of Johnny Cash - “One piece at a time.”
Its a miracle fair play for putting it up after a long day chopping
Great to see ye using Irish machine. Best in world
Great video Tom.
Now you know there's an extra winter job, to take off all the blades to clean and resharpen them before the following sessions mowing.
Thank you for getting the video out for us
Ginge : the soil temperature is . . .
Tom : Can we grow Bananas yet? 😁😁😁
Great video Tom 🚜👍🏻
Good job fellas 👍
I love your dads TR5👌I had a TR6 many years ago British sports cars ❤️❤️❤️
My dads a TR fanatic, has had them for 40 odd years. Currently has 2 TR6s in the garage
The building progress is fantastic but I also love just a good day of chores on the farm!
Edit: I love your mom just walking by in the back and telling you not to make make mess of the car park. Reminds me of my mom. Every mom ever 😂
😂
I think that the maintenance is more interesting than many other things
definately need that machinery shed and workshop tom, will keep machinery away from cows, will keep mum happy and the car park clean, win win situation
A magnet in the sump or engine bay to pick up stray iron fillings, brilliant idea, well done the Malone company.
Watched all the add in full for you 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Toms mum priceless,😆😆😆😆
Your tyre pressure comment.Just reminded me need to do mine on car!👍😄
Grate video Tom 👍
Haven't even watched the video yet but I hit the like button nevertheless because it is a Sunday Vid-dee-oo 🤗👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤓
Ginger fella will be telling everyone about that magnet ! What a man he is haha great to see other things being done round the farm other than just the cow stuff
Magnetic drain plugs are common in motor oil drain plugs. You can get aftermarket replacements in most any size if you look hard enough. When you have metal parts that rub together they will shed metal filings even when lubricated properly. They have them in transmission pans, transfer cases on 4x4s and differentials.
I have obtained carts, stools, buckets, benchs, all to solve the smooth negotiation and use of the wrenches & the socket sets, etc. Each one becomes "almost right", but, each ultimately fall short, precipitation the additional purchases of alternative organization schemes..... Good Luck!
Seeing ya’ll do maintenance on your huge mower makes me thing of all our little lawn mowers, maintenance… ahhhh lol. Grease ports? Blade changes? Oh lord I don’t think anyone does that but they should even with the new electric ones.
Its a miracle you got it out fair play
Awesome video Tom 😁
Class vid tom
We are tb testing and hopefully doing our silage this week
if you have a steel oil pan stick a magnet to the outside bottom /side to collect the swarf- simples- been doing it for years
Ill watch this after i get my silage cut!
Nice vid tom I totally agree
I think that magnet set up was incredible! Why didnt someone come up with that ages ago! Oooh. I just thought! Its job security ifstuff keeps getting fouled up and needs fixing. Never mind! Lol Fingers crossed for good mowing weather! God bless!!!
Morning from sunny Dorset !!
Be nice to mom! I was thinking the same thing😏. Glad it was a quick flip of the blades. Can you sharpen them? Ginger Warrior is so full of awesome knowledge! Stay safe.
When drawing the bed of the mower make sure the oil is warm run the mover for 15 mins
Ecellent double sided blades!
It’s a miracle
Excellent. Thank you
9:04 Absolutely. That is an excellent idea, and that is exactly why it wont be in normal cars, because the new mindset is replace, refit, maintain as often and much as possible to make as much money as possible off people.
Great vid
Tom I do not know what knives cost for you mower but here in the US my disk mower knives cost less than $2. So I never turn them over anymore. The corner gets rounded off when down. When you flip them that is now the top. So that missing bit makes the knife have less lift. A good tech also show me how to install the knives with the beveled side down so the top side is one smooth surface. That also makes them work better. We grow alfalfa and a good clean cut helps keep disease out of the crown. * We put magnets on the drain plugs of all our equipment. I found small round ones. I just drill a small hole in the drain plug and epoxy the magnet in.*
very good video tom
Ginger Warrior Strikes Again
he's brilliant
I love watching you and the Ginge, but please tell me you cleaned the car park for your mum!
I love the side shot of your Mum telling you not to mess up her car park. And your reply if only we had a shed to do it all in. Ha, my response would be you'll be lucky to have a home to go to if you don't clean up that oil spillage on her lovely car park. 😉😆☘
Good morning Tom and the ginger guy
Can’t beat farming best job ever
