Glad you got to experience the subway. These subways have become very normal for Chinese citizens although it still amazes us all foreigners.       I appreciate that! I think China deserve some positive press and I am willing to put the effort to show the side of China most Westerners have never seen. That burger was okay 😅 but cheap. Honestly, I am still amazed at how cheap the subway is here.

    Thanks for your impressions. Maybe you could mention that in Beijing foreign tourists can only buy tickets at the desk as the ticket machines or the ticket app needs a Chinese ID card. This will help people to prepare before visiting this vibrant and beautiful city.

    It’s not possible in anywhere Beijing is more expensive than London, no way . There are a lot of 1500 dollars two bedroom apartments in CBD area ( close to China central television station )

    Look at those electric bike all line up nicely. Here in the state all the electric bike be in the bushes, side walk, side of railroad track or beaten up in the alley. I wonder how can company makes money out of that.

    when someone approach you on the streets and request you to do something, you should just ignore them. In shanghai there are scams. art and tea shop scams. maybe asking you to teach them english is the new one
