I figured this out irl from just trying something lol I knew the traction control wasn't all the way off when I couldn't do big circles and could only do small ones because of the front brakes locking themselves trying to regain control of the car 😂😂😂

@@icewallowkhum3540 I like having the ability to turn it back on if I want, if you're going to rip donuts and slide your car around, unplugging it is the way to go. For roll or dig racing I like just using the switch

I've been messing around before and forgot to fully turn of tcs and almost lost my shit, advanced tcs and stability control is a death sentence to a good driver.
My mustang is having an issue witht he esc When I drive around normally suddenly the error message esc service comes and the car shuts off power. Any thoughts
My dad mustang tractoin comes back on when he had done all the steps youve shown and if he drive drifts thru and ignore the light the system says tractoin system failure
You can't change the drive mode after doing this. For example I always go into race mode, then hold the traction control button and then change my steering strength.
I got a new TRACTION CONTROL SETTING for everybody that's got the base model GT. It's called sport mode. Not talking about when you slide your shifter back to sport. You simply click the traction control button five times click quickly starting with it in traction control on or the normal TC setting. I haven't played with it enough to figure out when and where or if it's beneficial in any areas. But it's something I discovered I haven't seen anybody else talking about this.
It never fully turns off in my 2015 GT Premium PerfPack despite being in track mode and holding traction control for 5+ seconds waiting for the message to display. 15 gazillion levels of traction control is fucktarded
How does turning this off HELP you not hit a crowd, exactly? Surely the goal is avoiding “going sideways” in the first place. Using stability control. And your brain and right foot.
@@PPG1967 unless it like allows you to slide but in an unpredictable way. I've done a little wet weather sliding with traction control on but not like giving it a full boot and drifting on public roads. It seemed predictable

There is also a connector under the hood to disable it so the computer can't unexpectedly kick it back on.

Whenever I swing my car with this method it always says service advance traction but then goes away seconds later. Is that normal?

Have you tried unplugging the traction control fuse by the airbox? its impossible to miss. that fully takes off everything

There's something wrong with your car. Check wheel speed sensors.
Speed sensors/wheel bearings- supposedly uneven tire wear, but I feel like that would have to be really extreme
I turned on my car, and it randomly popped up and was disabled, I have no clue how to enable it (2015) any clue how to?
You probably have an issue with your car. Alot of times if you have a wheel speed sensor go out it'll disable it like that

That doesn't fully disconnect it. the computer can still kick in, you need to unplug the dyno plug under the hood

It's the most you can disable it without unplugging the thing by the airbox
