I intend to get back to this game, maybe this year, for 2 reasons: 1 - The run was performed without following speedruns.com rules, so because I didnt show the difficulty settings it was placed along with the very easy runs. 2 - My original goal was sub 23, so I may try to reach that goal.
Hey, man! Practice is the key. It is usually consistent the way I explained in the video, but sometimes it just doesn't work. When it works though you can have a pretty fast fight, even 1 round the Queen before the first two enemies come to help her. Good luck on your attempts!
@@speedsterh Hey, man! Thanks for your comment! There is subtitle in this video explaining a few things. The trick is quite simple, actually, you just have to position your character at a certain distance from Alien Queen while centered with her hitbox. Just take a look at her shadow on the ground on the video and where I position P. Warrior and try to replicate that. Use an emulator that has savestate and loadstate option to practice the fight and the trick. Good luck!
@@l2eeve Ah, hadn't thought of trying the subtitles. The trick is indeed rather simple, I just never noticed it before. Great run really, I'm jealous of your use of back hops+kick, they're very effective to retreat and attack at the same time.

I need to find out how to consistently get that double damage pulse rifle technique you used on the Queen - you took her out FAST!
