Even something like ordering for her at a restaurant. Do NOT try that unless you ask first--and that's still pretty risky; some may like it, some won't. Maybe Tripp meant deciding things exclusively in your own life, but that wasn't clear in the video.
I have an honest question. How the heck orders for someone else at a restaurant? Never seen that in my life unless you mean that she tells the guy what she wants and then the guy tells the waiter/waitress what she asked for.

I'm not sure if this counts as the last one but instead of asking why someone is single, assuming she's been dating a while I'd ask how come it's not worked out for you so far? This is usually leads to a compliment like you're attractive, ambitious etc. Whether it is a turn off I don't know but it is interesting to find out and it can spark a conversation
