Chase recommends a personal credit score between 670-850 for this card. They check personal credit with a hard pull during the application process. So long as your account stays in good standing, they do not report business credit to personal credit bureaus. Good luck!

hello Rich, I am giviing you addtional info about Chase business credit cards, I was denied because my side hustle was considered a risk. my personal credit was good, everything in order. i have many accounts with them p.checking, p. savings, investing, and business checking. I side hustle repairs and resales of Porsche vehicles from impounds and Ebay on vehicles parts. Chase said according to their opinion my industry is high risk and would not be considered because regional to my address most businesses fail. I said why am I being punished for doing business right. True story. if possible I have a question? should I reapply after pandemic or consider another lender. I am in need of Business credit card because im growing with my side hustle. i appreciate any suggestion. Sincerely David
Hi David, that's odd on Chase's part. Two ideas: 1) Call the business card reconsideration line again and explain how your business is growing then make your case. 2) Try AMEX business cards - they tend to be more accepting then you can try Chase after 3-6 months again. Here's my AMEX guide - richsmithedu.com/how-to-fill-out-a-business-credit-card-application-for-american-express/
Chase business cards don’t count as a further card towards 5/24. However, if you’re already at 5/24 or above then business cards are still subject to the same 5/24 rules. Also, there IS a hard pull on personal credit, even for business cards. That all make sense?
No, it's based on household income and reported spend. The data shows between $5,000 and $10,000 for those with good credit and already have a relationship with Chase - this is for first card.
@@richsmithedu but my corporation is actually registered with the state and irs etc using that ups store address, so won't my home address be different in that case?
@@wealthabundance6344 okay. Put the actual address where you registered your business. Some report UPS addresses are red flags for creditors, so they use their home address for lines of credit.

Hi, I just applied for the ink and I’m currently waiting on a response. I called and the rep advised me it passed the verification process so they are waiting on a yes or no. I have 2 chase cards 1 in which I just got back in July. I have a 740 score and no other business cards. With this would you say my chances are good? I’m under 5/24.
Well, unfortunately I was denied due to length of business and too many request for credit. I tried the reconsideration line and was told the same thing. I guess I will wait a few months then reapply, hopefully they still have the $500 rewards 🙏🏿 Thanks for the reply!!!
Does the Chase business card get reported to the credit bureaus? Not the preferred card but the basic entery level one that gives %5 back on cellphone and stuff? I am trying to spread my bills out, while also trying to both increase my credit score and snag that 5% cash back while im at it. any information is much appreciated. great video. i went ahead and subscribed.
Yes, Chase looks at your personal credit and business credit reports, so too many inquiries is a factor. AMEX does the same, but they are way more likely to approve you.
If you have good credit yes. But if u r like me that's not a bank to apply for. That is the bank that I have my business account. Better find a share secure loan or a secured credit to repair before applying to Chase.

Awesome thank you for the reply. I will try as you suggest. Stay Up and Stay safe. :)
Please can I know where I will receive my card? My home address or my business address
@@orunsolutemitope2837 most of the credit card companies require a physical address, so I used my home address and that's where it's sent.
It helps if you have an existing relationship with Chase. I applied in the branch with my personal banker and got approved on the spot.
Words cannot express my feelings, nor my gratitude for this video. Jamie did a great job. I really appreciate it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great vid straight to the point and informative. Two thumbs up
Very helpful information thanks
I put 0 in employees instead of 1. How does that change things?
APPROVED!! Thanks man!
Very informative and nicely explained

Yes, your driving and career work errands would be your personal business. I’d start with the AMEX business card first.
what if i have a DUNS number? Where is that in all of this? I am trying to only involve my business credit not personal
DUNS isn’t the same as tax identification numbers. Check out @KelvinMcNeil channel for some no PG options.
So helpful, thank you
What are your favorite business credit cards?
is it a HP for biz credit card?

Hello. Does chase business CC follow 5/24 too like personal CC?

@@richsmithedu Got it. I need to wait 2 years then. 😫 Thanks for the info.
what if you have a chase debit card? can you still get approves for a chase business card? thanks
Yes, and it's helpful to already have a preexisting relationship with Chase.
If its an LLC WITH A BUSINESS DO YOU PUT BUSINESS NAME ON “business legal name” then your name on card?
Put your name if you're using your social security number.
Can I apply for two cc’s @ the same time ? One as sole proprietor, and the other as LLC ?
Yes, one would use your SSN and the other with your EIN.
Will I get less SL if I apply using my SSN?
No, it's based on household income and reported spend. The data shows between $5,000 and $10,000 for those with good credit and already have a relationship with Chase - this is for first card.
Would a ups store location as your business address be flagged by every lender when applying?
I suggest putting your home address because it'll match when they verify identify.

Chase reports to all business credit bureaus for positive reports, and only reports to personal credit bureaus for negative reports.
Everything is awesome. Mmmmm I may not want to apply because I don't have not income coming in due to pandemic.
Hi! I have two businesses, can I apply for a card for each company?
Yes 👍
does it affect your credit score when u apply for it?
There’s a hard pull credit check, so it could lower your personal score a few points.
@@richsmithedu thanks!
I got 802 credit score so I guess gtg.
You’re good!! Consider starting with AMEX Blue Business Plus - great 1st business card too.

Can I use this card for non business expenses?
The terms and conditions say it's all suppose to be for business. But there's no law against using it the way you see fit.
The SSN IS A BIG PART OF THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS, EVEN THOUGH YOUR BUSINESS MIGHT BE THRIVING. I GOT DENIED PERIOD.
