Personally, for me, the interest comes from modding. In order to mod a game, you need to reverse engineer it. It is also fun to create a cheat for educational purposes but not to annoy people with it.
Gaming hacking is a fun way to understand how software is done in the bare metal. Some people who got hired in malware analysis started their careers in game hacking. Not only that but what do you guys think single player mods are made out of? If there isn't an already made api or toolkit for the game itself. Then people will mod games by reversing it first then change assets bullet mods, fly, god mode etc. It doesn't have to be multiplayer. Since some fundamentals of modding require some reverse engineering.
So if I use game hacking for my personal use and enhancing my single player experience on games with no anti cheat is that unethical or illegal? Even on a game I played that had anti cheat I only cheated the single player and removed all multiplayer capabilities on my computer for that game. So I wonder if single player cheating is okay or legal?
I agree with you aXXo but to be honest most people buy the cheats and play with them thos are the 🍆. But the people that make the cheat are smart because they can get pretty good cash from the 🍆 out there so the people that make the cheats are mostly winning and some even get your email and send it to spams so they make even more money. But thats how it is the people that create the cheats are called the worst but in reality they make pretty good money from their users and have pretty good game hacking knowledge so the hate needs to go to the people that buy them not create them..

In fact some games have bug bounties as well as everyday apps in our life. And bug bounties are definetly ethic.
